2008 presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton said Monday that she's horrified over allegations that U.S. Marines executed innocent Iraqis in the town of Haditha last November after their convoy was hit by a roadside bomb - and she's vowing to expose any cover-up by Marine brass.
"This is the kind of horrific allegation that has to be investigated, and we're going to start in the Senate doing just that," she told the New York Daily News, after marching in Chappaqua's Memorial Day parade.
The comments by Clinton, who sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee, seemed to contradict remarks by committee chairman Sen. John Warner, who said Sunday . . .

I for one am sick and tire of the house and senate, trying to make this investigation find those marines guilty, they promise to investigate, "if you don't find them guilty" what is that, a threat, I wish these idiots would shutup and let the investigation take it course, I think in the long run you going to find out that the marines were being shot at from all sides.
Murtha seems like a guy that's been caught with his hand in the cookie jar so he screams "look over there". Something is just not right about the guy.
I've always suspected the family in question had close ties with bombmakers and high-level insurgents. Wish we knew more about them.
I have to agree completely.
The Marine Corps seems to be taking this seriously and is moving forward with an investigation.
If these Marines have done something wrong I have faith that the Marine Corps will prosecute and convict them in accordance with the UCMJ.
I see no reason what so ever for congress to hold "hearings" on it.
Well no morally correct reason for them to do so.
The reason is "Get Bush".
I find it horrying that those on the left have never been horrified by the 24/7/365 intentional targeting of civilians by the insurgents.
They need to stay out of it and allow the investigation to proceed in a fair manner. Personally, I'd like to see hearings on how UN Peacekeeping troops have raped hundreds of african girls with impunity.
Those who can, do; those who can't, investigate.
Horrific? Try Waco.
Let the spew begin.
I though WACO and RUBY RIDGE and ELIAN GONZALES KIDNAP were all pretty HoRRIFIC too
Along with Vince Foster, Juanita Broderick, Monical Lewinsky, Whitewhater Billing records, 900 FBI files, etc etc etc were also pretty HoRIFFIC
That was justified.
The whole period 1992 - 2000 was 'Horrific' to everyone but the clintoons, so was the period of the clintoons in Arkansas as co-governors with the tainted blood episode.
I'm surprised she didn't pull a "They never would have done that under MY husband's PRESIDENCY!" quote for her minions in the MSM.

or to put it another way: "under my husband, the president"
Waco Texas Massacre was far more horrific than these alleged crimes Mrs. Elefont Anklous De Hillary
It's not good.
But Horrific is way over the top.
Oh yes lets hear it Missus Clinton....after the list of dead bodies you and your husband have....uh hu you bet....think you walk on water?
Don't think so.....go to Arbia or somewhere, we don't want you here...
I am horrified at the Clinton Body Count!

The jury is still out on this and if terrorists get a day in court, so should Marines.
However, even if it did happen those repsonsible should be punished and we shouldn't make such a big deal over it.
War is war and atrocities always occur and the more pressure fighting men are under, the more likely such will happen.
Considering the overall circumstances, our troops have displayed uncommon courage and restraint.
Hillery should go check her broomstick - I think its overparked.
Perhaps the Senate should investigate the Clinton Death List first. Lots more victims on it and it's closer to home.
