John O'Neil et al "made the difference" -- and, without them, John Kerry - snake that he is - would be sitting in the White House today.
I, for one, will be forever grateful for their efforts.

It seems to me some of our vets are owed as many thanks in civilian life as they are owed for their time in uniform.

Thank you, namvet66. I think you are absolutely correct. Not only the majority of nam vets but also their Moms, Dads, brothers, sisters, children and friends scorned Kerry. No wonder he lost but that is something the nutty left just doesn't understand.
Thank you all veterans everywhere not only today but everyday.

"For the want of a nail, the shoe was lost; for the want of a shoe the horse was lost; and for the want of a horse the rider was lost, being overtaken and slain by the enemy, all for the want of care about a horseshoe nail."...Benjamin Franklin Sometimes it's the little things.
In 2004 I looked at what the swift boat veterans were up against. They started with a sawbuck and a gnawing thought that this just isn't right. They threw themselves against all the money anyone could use in a lifetime, from one man, from one political party and from the free attack ads provided with glee from the right and just main stream media.
At the time in seemed to me they were trying to hold back a tsunami with a tea cup. That image hasn't faded in the intervening years.
I, too, will be forever grateful for the second great service to the nation performed by John O'Neill and the rest.

He's a loser!

Kerry was so incredibly naive about his own serious baggage. He must have believed Theresa when she said she would buy the election.
The idea that he could ride his crippled horse all the way to the White House is beyond rational belief.
