You're exactly right. Besides, the idea that the Republican Party under George W. Bush doesn't have a strong position on abortion and that the Constitution Party would do better is laughable.
The Constitution Party is, among other things, virtually pacifist regarding the War on Terror. In objective terms regarding their effect, not their intentions, that makes them, as George Orwell said about the pacifists of his day regarding the Axis, objectively pro-Islamofascist.
It doesn't matter if a RAT takes over. There's not enough difference between the political parties over issues that matter.
So, we get Hitlery for four years, if the nation can survive Carter, we can survive her.

Maybe, but I'm totally disillusioned with both the President and the GOP. They are two faced--one face champions Homeland Security (which I'm fine with); the other face lets our Southern Border remain out of control. One face quotes the law; the other face won't enforce the law (for both illegals and leakers of national security information). The Immigration Bill that passed the Senate is a travesty and a slap in the face to the American people. It give illegals a total pass on the law and probably more right/protections than Americans. Any Senator that voted for it (R or D) should be politically dead. It pains me no end that our President supports it.
If it takes a GOP purge or third party to stop this foolishness so be it. We need to stop this, even if Conservatives have to wander in the desert for a few years.

The rats have ALREADY taken over.. They have taken over the republican party.. Not completely yet, but soon.. You do know the republican party WILL run a RINO in 2008 for President, don't you.. A RINO to replace the current RINO.. Republicans generally seem to LOVE RINOs.. else they would not elect so MANY OF THEM..

Seems to me we just had a Rat takeover of the Senate while we are supposedly in the majority. If you can't tell the difference in the voting record of your supposedly conservative senators and the rats then whats the difference?
