THE WASHINGTON TIMES ^ | May 26, 2006 | Charles Hurt

The Senate yesterday easily approved an immigration bill that allows 10 million illegal aliens to become citizens, doubles the flow of legal immigration each year and will cost U.S. taxpayers an estimated $54 billion over the next 10 years.

The leaders of both parties hailed the 62-36 passage as a historic success.

I tried to call the office of Senator Frist to let him know how offensive I find the passage of this bill to be, coming on the MEMORIAL DAY weekend and was promptly put on "hold" (aka the "FU" button)......forever! His staff didn't even have the guts to listen to my comments!!

I am so ready to go RINO hunting this coming November!!

"This is the way we should legislate -- on a bipartisan basis with certain GOPers caving in like cheap suits."

A bit more accurate now.

Thanks for posting the names. I feel much better knowing that neither of the North Carolina Senators voted for this. If they had, I would have gone ballistic or postal, whichever is worse.

The House will hold.

If they can take time out from defending William Jefferson, Democrat of Louisiana.

And I am so ashamed of the 23 GOP Senators that made your despicable gloating possible along with the corrupt, hypocrite Fox's victory tour.

So what's the answer when you reelect them all? When the pubbies tell you that the world will end if you let the commie dem in just watch. Bingo, a vote for the RINO.

I sit & think how Alaska can keep these two senators in office. Then I look at my native state of Nebraska & wonder how those fine people vote for Hagel.

Bill Frist may be a good cardiologist, but he's a terrible senator and an even worse Majority leader.

Work to replace the RINO's in the primaries so that nose holding votes are reduced.

Tough, tough task I admit without party support but the effort alone does send a message.

We heard all of the tough talk from Frist 2 months ago. Where did that all go? (Remember this was GW's handpicked selection) Remember when the tough issues that these pols are forced to vote, then you will see who's on YOUR side. Everyone of these Senators should be throw out or recalled NOW! If you ever vote for the again then NEVER complain again when our country hits the skids.

Time for some primary challengers for these RINOs. If anyone has names and addresses for the candidates challenging the RINOs that voted for this bill please send them to me so I can send money. At least my TX senators did the right thing. Hopefully the house will hold the line on the POS bill.

Governments exist to support the rights of men.
Governments exist only through the power of the people that they represent.
When a government fails to grant rights to the people and removes the involvement of the people, the people have the right to change their government in a way that will allow for their unalienable rights to be protected.

Frankly, since I live in the People's Republic of Maryland, I am not surprised that Babs and Paul the Sleepwalker voted yes. It does surprise me that Lindsay Graham is still able to go back to South Carolina and not be "detained" for questioning.

What's up with SC??????
