The leaders of both parties hailed the 62-36 passage as a historic success.

"I am so proud of the Senate," Minority Leader Harry Reid said as those around him smiled broadly. "This is the way we should legislate -- on a bipartisan basis."

"This is the way we should legislate -- on a bipartisan basis." Bipartisanship is when the Stupid Party and the Evil Party agree to do something that is both stupid and evil.

And I am so ashamed of the 23 GOP Senators that made your despicable gloating possible along with the corrupt, hypocrite Fox's victory tour.

According to Drudge there's gunfire in the House. Maybe they're having a bad day overall in the Capitol.

Well--they have sealed their fate, I hope.
Sooner or later, these "high and mighty" folks are going to have to realize that they are elected to do the will of the people.
Every poll I have seen says that overwhelmingly, the people do not want what is in many provisions of this bill.
Sadly, I don't hold much hope that the House will do any better.

If I wasn't so enamored of Junior, I'd adopt that as a new tagline.

Well-written and complete description of The Monstrosity. Wait until the relatives - especially the aged parents needing free medical care - all come over too. Then the rest of the country will experience the flood to which California has been subjected.
And then they'll all finally "get it."

Bipartisanship is when the Stupid Party and the Evil Party agree to do something that is both stupid and evil. True -- great tagline material. Don't be surprised if it shows up in mine soon (without attribution, of course) ;)
