LANSING - A new poll released today by Strategic Vision shows Republican gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos with a three- point lead over Democratic Governor Jennifer Granholm.
The poll shows DeVos leading Granholm, 45-42 percent, with 13 percent undecided.
Respondents in the poll said they were dissatisfied with her job performance by a margin of 44-41, and by an overwhelming 61-28 margin said they believed Michigan is on the wrong track.
The poll revealed Senator Debbie Stabenow is leading each of her three Republican challengers in head-to-head match-ups.
In other areas, 62 percent of respondents disapproved of President Bush's job performance. An almost evenly divided response came on the question of an immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq. 43 percent said we should pull out immediately, 45 percent said we should not.
By a margin of 58-36, respondents do not want the US Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
15. If the election for United States Senate were held today, whom would you vote for Debbie Stabenow, the Democrat or Mike Bouchard, the Republican?
Debbie Stabenow 48% Mike Bouchard 36% Undecided 16%
fyi
Mind numbing, Stabenow rivals my two Senators Boxer & Feinstein, in incompetence.
Yes...and take a look at the
whole Strategic Vision Poll:

Follows exactly the pattern

polling! Now, how many of
the 1200 were Republican
stay-at homes? Poll until
you get the results you want!
[Paid for by DNC and Soros Fund!]
I noticed Stabenow's disapprovals were at about 42%. Not a good sign for her.
That said, I share your optimism come November. I didn't ping you to the poll on McGavick in WA (who lags at this time) but think that the MSM is going to be in for shock on a number of fronts. Especially if the far left continues its hostile takeover of the Rat party. ;^)
McGavick is only down 5 points. Now, I don't know WA politics, but I don't think he is very well known. If she is struggling at this point against someone who lacks name recognition, she's in big, big trouble.
I understand he has Rossi's team. That one is under the radar, IMHO. Watch for some DNC $$ going to WA. If so, we'll know they are a bit scared. Also I heard him on with Medved (and you too, great job) who is Seattle based. His name will spread and he is an achiever...
At least it looks like Michigan will be getting rid on Gov. Granholm, who looks like a deer in the headlights.
Granholm came out of the Wayne County (Detroit) organization where they solve problems the old fashioned way - by bribing someone.
Between Granholm, Stabenow, Levin, Conyers Jr., Kilpatrick and the unions, is it any wonder Michigan's gasping?
If all these Dem jokers win reelection in MI, the state is history.
Re#10 Yep. Amazing, isn't it. That's the danger or living in an echo chamber. I love it...
it looks like Commie-Babe-Canuck-Governor has finally screwed-up enough to even tick-off the UAW members.
Eventually they will get smart and elect Ted Nugent
as their Governor.
Every time a Democrat appears on T.V., the American people reach for the panic button.
Hoo yah! I'd love to see a debate between he and blondie.
Stabmenow may be reelected, Granholm must not be.
I saw an AFA Alert saying that Stabenow is set to vote against the Marriage Protection Amendment, though Michigan voters were 59-41 for banning gay marriage. I don't understand how she can say 'democracy' without some spasmodic twitching and drooling.
BTTT for DeVos.
