"Israel endured the equivalent of 9/11 every month for four years during the intifada that began in 2000. "
3000+ Israelis / month were dying for 4 straight years? That's some 36,000 civilians/year * 4 years or over 144,000 Israeli civilians dying in terror attacks?
Not questioning the message of this post - just the stats from the above quote.
Israel certainly deals with terror attacks better than most countries, in terms of not hitting the panic button and continuing to live as normally as possible.
re :Now, in a frenzy of anti-racist guilt, newer generations of Europeans practice "multicultural" tolerance toward their separatist and violence-prone Muslim citizens. They do so for many reasons but partly in order to both deny and continue the Holocaust against the Jews.
Whether you agree with not with multiculturalism, and although it was tried with the best intension it has failed, and European states are moving towards assimilation, it has nothing to do with Holocaust denial.
Most Muslims living in Countries such as the Netherlands, France and my country the UK are former citizens of what were once colonies of those nations.
Britain also has a black population mainly from the West Indies is that to do with Holocaust denial as well.
And Anti Semite's is alive and well in America as well, you only have to look up some white supremest web sites to see that.
There are some organizations in America who believe in the ZOG (Zoinest Occupation Government) and holocaust denial is a big industry in America.
He is missing a whole lot of the background which helped to cause the Holocaust.
Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) and many prominent "intellectuals", business leaders, and politicians in the early 20th century were promoting ideas of eugenics -- the science of keeping the gene pool pure by eliminating or sterilizing those whom they saw as unfit. It was all the rage in academia and Teddy Roosevelt, Rockefeller, etc., were caught up in the same bandwagon. Some of the ideas they promoted are nothing less than startling to us today.
Eugenics was an accepted notion of the early 20th century and hardly anyone saw anything wrong with it. Germany took it to new levels in the 30's under Hitler when they developed the gas chambers and sterilization programs for those who they thought didn't belong in their society -- homosexuals, mentally ill people, people of limited intelligence, people with certain physical handicaps. Thus when the Jews were demonized more specifically by Hitler it was a natural extension to create more ovens and more ways of exterminating these "unfit" people.
Hitler killed 6 million Jews but he also killed another 4 million Poles and other Eastern Eurpoeans under his own version of eugenics.
Thank God this foundation of aggressively helping nature in assuring the Survival of the Fittest doesn't exist in any developed society anymore, so that precludes a Holocaust like the Hitler version. It still exists in the Middle East, though, in that the Muslims want to exterminate the Jews.
That Holocaust denial is a crime is asking for backlash.
Let the idiots vent. Free speech is too important to sacrifice. Their rantings present an opportunity to keep the truth fresh in the public mind.
I'm becoming more convinced each day that I'm watching this pattern redevelop with Iran and Ahmadinejad as he beats his religious apocalyptic war drums against Israel. If we allow him to acquire nuclear weapons, history will condemn us all for our amazing imbecility in allowing history to repeat itself. Pacificity and appeasement will once again be the death of many, if allowed to continue.
" This has marked me as a "traitor" in the eyes of a great many leftist academics"
If the traitorous left sees you as a traitor to their cause, then that puts you in the company of Moses, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy, St. Paul, Martin Luther, Abraham of Ur, Corrie Ten Boom, Teddy Roosevelt, Golda Meier and Oliver North, to name just a very few.
Not bad. You should feel honored.
The important thing is that there are no nations carrying out genocide today. Except for those that are.
