Please be in prayer for our LadyX. She will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning(5/24/06). Any of you who know LadyX, know that she has been a member of our FR Family for a long time and is very much loved and respected. She has inspired us, made us laugh, given us some of the wisest of advice, wowed us with tales of her life in the Marines, and shared her childhood memories of an idealic time. Some will recall the sailing of the Mobius, or the time on the tropical island. We have shared many adventures. Now, it's time to let her know how much she is loved.
Post your prayers, encouragements, jokes, pictures or memories, so she will have them to read when she gets back home.
Prayer is so cheap, how can we not afford to spend it?
Prayers up.
tet.
Amen
We Bless Your Name that You are with our Sister to Care for her with Great Grace. May she Awaken with No Trace of a Stroke, our God Who Strengthens and Sustains Your Dear Lambs. Remove her Pain, Merciful Master, and Grant to her a Flawless Return to Health. Please Help her Every Moment, O Lord, Resting her in the Palm of Thy Hand.
Our Father, how we Love Your Servant, and Glorify You for her Ministry Among us All. Enfold her in Thy Spirit's Peace, and Cherish her Closely in Thy Embrace of Grace. In our Jesus' Name, Comfort her Husband and Family, Lord God, amen.
Please Hear us, Sweet King, Please Hear us.
Thank you for the update, Nan. This is not what we were waiting for. Big prayers going up for our Maggie.
Father, Our dear Maggie is going thru some very difficult times. Please hold her close as you see her thru this latest ordeal. Please comfort her, her family and her friends who are anxiously awaiting good news. We pray that today's problems are caused by her medication.
We ask that you stand by her husband and give him the strength needed at this time.
We ask that you speed Maggie's healing and enable her to return home soon. We ask this in Jesus Name. Amen
Oh dear sweet Maggie. Our prayers for you continue.. and for your family.
"TT", Beth & Nana
Thank you dear Kitty. Hear our prayers, O Lord.
Thank you TT. Your prayers are appreciated.
OK, no more smart-alecky remarks from this quarter until we get better news. I just hope God doesn't remember what a slacker I've been in the prayer department. I will pray in every language I know and the one from the heart for this dear lady who has given so much and deserves the best. You're a real trooper to hang in on this.
In addition to the leg and the sleeping, I'm going to pray for a laptop in rehab ; )
Lord, you have imparted your glory into this devoted lamb. Give her the power. Amen.
Thank you dear FRiend. Although I really do like your "smart-alecky" self.
I was also thinking about a laptop. Maybe her kids can go together and get her one. If I get a chance to talk to Steve, I'll mention it to him.
She's previously had that med with no problem, but this time she reacted badly to it?
Prayers up.
Thank you Nan.
Continuing Prayers for Our Maggie!
You noticed that too.
Amen, WVNan. Thank you for your faithfulness to your friend. Amen. What a fighter she is, dear Maggie.
prayers for our sister from the northern flock!
FURTHER UPDATE: Just received a call from Steve. He pretty much repeated what Maggie's husband told me except that he has talked to the hospital since his Dad talked to them. They tell him they are pretty sure that it was a stroke. They have done a CAT scan this evening and will do the MRI tomorrow. They are treating her for stroke. Steve is at home and tired from his trip. Being in the medical field, he does not sound as hopeful as his Dad sounded. Let us pray that the indomitable spirit of our lady Marine prevails. God grant her strength and healing.
Prayers sent.
Yes.
Amen.
