Wrong About Rove?
By Howard Kurtz
Washington Post Staff Writer

I reported yesterday (and if you missed it, start paying attention!) that the liberal Web site Truthout.org was standing by its claim that Karl Rove had been secretly indicted in the CIA leak case, despite strong denials by the White House aide's lawyer and spokesman.
Why the Rove team would lie about information that, if true, was certain to come out soon was never quite clear. More than three dozen mainstream journalists checked on the Truthout report but could not confirm a word of it.

Like attorneys, when they stop breathing.
Truthout.org is run by Marc Ash.
Does anyone know if this is the Ash of the infamous
*ASH ALERT!*
I had a great Fitzmas this year. I got a Jason Leopold doll and a William Rivers Pitt doll - you pull the little rings on their backs and you'd be surprised at the stuff that pours out. It's a little rough for a family website and it's always the same stuff, but it cracks me up every time.
Counting one business hour per non-holiday weekday, Rove can be indicted any time before the close of business on Friday, June 16th, and Jason will be proven correct.
Yea, I was wondering the same thing...
Is this the infamous Ash?
LOL
You said Matthews!! That man is obsessed with the Plame deal. I think if nothing happens they'll have to put him in a rubber room. I'd pay to see that.
Wonder if he's ever been pointed out to the moderators?
Please do tell what you know about Russert and Matthews dinner guests.
Anything on Matthews is great because he may be one of the most despicable characters in Washington. Heard him on RINO radio today mention the "liberal" media...as if he's not a member (pun intended).
Its the arizona conservative's "semi-news". Yes, it could be labelled that way, but if I know what it is, probably most people recognize the address as well.
Fitzmas Claus
Better than the 49% of a far smaller election day turnout that was the best the great uniter and homosexual agendizer Clintoon ever got.
And why isn't that little statement all over the networks??? (rhetorical ?) (does Rush, et al , have this???
Then when they realize, to their dismay, that Rove being indited was a lie - they try to turn it into a Rove lie!
The twisted minds of these people are truly chilling
Helen Thomas's twin?
My guess is he picked up the story while sitting on a bar stool.
That's got to be one of my favorite bits of lib double-speak ever. Apparently Ash thinks he sounds smart.
Please see my earlier posts and those who responded to me. These are FAKE QUOTES. It is this guy's tactic to put out "satire" (and I use this term ever so loosely) to deliberately mislead people rather than to make a point through humor. I wish he were banned from FR, but it appears there are those who agree with his tactics.
Andrew Sullivan tries to decide whether Rove is brilliant or not so smart:
"My money is on stupid. The right has long sought to portray Karl Rove as a genius; and the paranoid left has been only too happy to go along.........So, yeah. Rove is a terrible political guru. To sell your soul - and your party's soul - for a permanent majority is one thing. To sell it for 51 percent is just pathetic.""
The irony? the rats would've sold the collective souls of all immediate family members and their own to get 50.1% of that vote in 2004....
