Conservatives, nationwide are getting angry about the loss of principle by GOP'ers in office. Big spending in Washington and Sacramento. The inability to control illegal aliens. Failure to protect jobs and the failure to stop the social agenda of liberals in our schools in finally causing conservatives to say NO to GOP incumbents, even if it means we could lose seats in a legislative body. The thought is simple, why protect a Republican running for office if their voting record will differ little from the Democrats.
In Utah, GOP Congressman Chris Cannon could not win his Parties endorsement for re-election--his opponent got more votes in Convention then he did.
In Nebraska, Congressman tom Osborne, and legend in the state, was defeated for the nomination for Governor due to his weak stand on illegal aliens.
In Heardon, Virginia, five incumbent city council members lost re-election due to their creation of a "Day Labor Center" for illegal aliens.
In the California 50th Congressional District Special Election, the Democrat is ahead of the Republican, since the Republican has been portrayed as more liberal than many Democrats--has even supported Democrats in the past.
But, Pennsylvania last Tuesday should have been the two by four to every GOP candidate and office holder in the nation.At least 14 incumbent GOP office holders, including the top two in the State Senate were defeated in a Republican primary, by Republicans. The good news is that if they had not been defeated, many GOP voters would have stayed home in November. This is a lesson for us in California, and the nation, GOP voters have had enough of Republicans acting like Democrats. Our candidates need to stand for GOP principles, then vote and govern that way once in office.
No longer will GOP voters settle for, "well at least they have a "R" after their name." There is a revolt going on in GOP ranks and it is moving across the nation.
They have more sense tham many Americans.
Last Tuesday while I was working a poll, some Democrat made the comment that when you need a wall, the country was pretty much finished anyway.
I asked if she knew the difference between a wall to keep people in and one to keep people out? She said that we shouldn't be keeping them out.
So I asked her if she had doors and locks on her house and why, but the best she could do was sputter and stammer. Then most everyone else there sided with me, even the other Dems.
Thank God that some people 'get it'.
How does this square with your support of the liberal Hollywood actor over the Conservative McClintock?
I am beginning to wonder if the politicians and news media inside the Washington Beltway really understand or care what is going on around this country.
The people who really care are registered voters who actually vote.

I think that's a very important point.
RHINOS and DIMRATS et al have been almost brazenly acting even in public like the voters do not matter any more--that they will MSM manipulate folks; jurry rig elections; stuff ballot boxes and/or otherwise do whatever it takes to force our precious republic on a greased slide into the global government.
It's past time for them to feel the wrath of conservative voters and EFFECTIVE grass roots organizating AND GETTING THE CONSERVATIVE VOTE OUT on election day.
Well, it may be one and the same -- if the Dems get into power, they will destroy our ability to fight the war on terror.

AND they will shred individual rights just as fast.
AND they would likely impeach Bush. I like FOX's judge N. . . however he was saying some extremely alarming things on C2CAM tonight . . . that both a conservative and a liberal organization have researched and documented 700+_ laws that our beloved President has violated/not enforced etc. etc. etc. And it sounds like a setup for some blood lusting blood thirsty DIMRATS to run with.
Maintaining control of congress can protect the free world's best mortal hope for the rest of his term.

I think the media chose the color scheme. And being the subversive communist traitors like they are, I guess picking red for the Dems was way too obvious.

These are the primaries, babe! haha
A few questions about immigration policy:
1. What is the reason for immigration-- is it for us or them?
2. Why should we allow a single immigrant to come here?
3. Why shouldn't we allow every single person who wants to immigrate (that is nota criminal)?
4. If we assume that it shouldn't be zero or unlimited, how do you decide on the number to allow?
5. Do we "owe" those who immigrate anything when they arrive, or is it up to them to sink or swim?
You might as well write yourself in. You'll get about the same % they get. Combined.
Issues that were discussed by Cannon, during the campaign leading up to the GOP convention, simply highlighted his stances...more government inclusion into our lives through "social programs," some of them being specifically geared toward illegal immigrants. He also exhibits a lack of fiscal constraint by these same programs.
His opponent, on the other hand, comes accross as more conservative. It was not just a vote against Chris Cannon, but also against another former Congressman from Utah, Merrill Cook. Of the three candidates John Jacobs shined in his conservatism. He is a self-made, independant, strong willed man, who has brought himself up by his bootstraps and cannot be "bought." John Jacobs is simply the better candidate....I don't care what the ACU tells me....And that is what grassroots politics is all about, meeting the candidates face to face, talking with them, examining there character and their record.
