A tearful thank you, kschlenker, for the warm words about your beloved father ... his FReeper family joins you and your family in mourning his passing. May you be strengthened in the knowledge that parting is but momentary ... eternal reunion awaits.

May he rest in peace, and may you and your family be comforted in your loss.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.

Thank you for letting us have a glimpse of your dad and his rich life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Your dad will live on through you and your sisters and others. And in time, you will see him again.
The link to your ranch is wonderful. I am copying the wreath below.
And a big Welcome to FreeRepublic!
