Bill Clinton to Write New Book
By SARA KUGLER, Associated Press Writer 15 minutes ago
After writing an autobiography that sold millions of copies and earned him a hefty advance, former President Clinton has struck a deal to write another book.
Alfred A. Knopf will publish the new work, in which Clinton will focus on public service and citizen activism, telling a story that he hopes will "lift spirits" and "touch hearts," Clinton said in a statement.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Clinton is said to have received a staggering advance of $10 million to $12 million for writing "My Life," the 957-page memoir that Knopf published in 2004.
His inspiration for the second book, expected for release late next year or early 2008, was borne from the experiences he has had during his work and travel in the six years since he left the White House, Clinton said. It does not yet have a title.
Clinton plans to tell the stories of those he has met and in some cases he will go back and interview them to make the point that ordinary people can set forth change.

P.S. My primary is over, but because of certain legal and ethical problems, the incumbent, Charles Taylor may withdraw/be forced out, and I am in the running to be chosen as the replacement nominee for Congress in the 11th District of NC. For more information, see the article below, and my website. I still need your help.

Bubba will get the money , but how much will the actual writer make?
Wouldn't it be easier to just put some ice on it?
Hm, sounds like a knock-off of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series. My suggested title for Ol' Billy Jeff is "Duck Soup for Dummies".
