EXCELLENT POST!!
I especially agree with the comments about the President.
Thanks for postin', Pukin'.
Yes, yes and Yes!
You highlight it as being more pertinent than this nearly 1000 post (and growing) thread but you didn't even bother to comment about it? Just kind of ironic.
"Yep, your allies on that thread wore me down. By the time I was going to reply it was past my bedtime. Big deal."
Well there goes the big BS flag. You had time to post again and again on that thread for hours after I posted to you. I pinged you to that same post several times to remind you it was there. Days later, you still haven't responded. Maybe you've been too busy posting anonymous keywords. But I'd be happy to read a response now. My questions are still valid.
Sorry if my point wasn't crystal clear.
That is what we are complaining about - you "damn the party" and the party is all we have that has a chance at bringing about change.
I'm damn glad we agree on that one. Now how about some fiscal conservancy?
However, the Senate shot down enforcement first. And the folks in the Senate who shot it down are Bush's allies in getting his guest worker program passed. Meanwhile, the pubbies in the House who are running for re-election say enforcement first.
So where does that put us? Bush and Senate RINOs are siding with the likes of Hillary and Teddy. Conservatives are saying enforcement first - conservatives up for re-election this year. Who do YOU side with?
Are you talking about the same Minutemen organization that is being undermined but the US Government?? Its the Governments job to watch and secure the border. The Minutemen are only there because the US Govt refuses to do the job.
I for one have no intention of weakening the President when he is in the middle of waging a war, the consequences of losing which, are unthinkable. If Democrats are able to take control of a branch of Congress it will be a victory for all of those that are calling for our immidiate withdrawl from Iraq. They will redouble their calls for withdrawl, they will obstruct and obfuscate, and call for impeachment. They will severely undermine our chances for victory in Iraq, and the entire doctrine of pre-emption. This simply cannot be allowed to happen.
You're just one of many predicting doom and gloom. Say it enough and maybe it'll happen.
I am optimistic that the voters will realize that the democrats are in favor of full amnesty.
What PD wrote here, you haven't addressed. His main point, I think, is that the border-bots are dividing us unneccesarily, being helped by Kos kiddies and Duers who want us divided, and if successful will rule us in ways you will absolutely hate.
If the border bots foresake us, no matter what is done......(and it now seems to me they have forsaken conservatism so they can pout and prove how right they are)......you will lose in unspeakable ways when the Dems take over.
If the Dems take over:
1. The WOT will cease, and radical Islam can regroup
2. We will all get tax increases and our economy will shrink, putting us in serious danger.
3. The judiciary will be re-packed with judges that do things like....hmmmmmm.......forbid the public from not paying services for illegals.
4. The judiciary will be packed with those who vote for the culture of death, more Schiavvos and no hope of reversing the carnage of Roe v Wade
5. More and more regs on you personally, and the free market.
6. The Dem platform is hideous, and they will push hard and succeed for it.
Do you really want those things to happen? This when the President actually proposed half of what you want, which is border security? You only answer by saying Bush must be lying or be insincer......I want that security as much as you, but the border bots seem to want to just rant now.
Wait until the Dems are in and they have their way. Votes for all illegals, every single position you hold dear even in the anti-immi debate will be gone forever.
So decide.......you want them? Just keep it up, they're coming and will love the help of the border bots.
That's a good idea. But several of us need to do it. I don't like swamping the mods either, and I think I can count on one hand the number of times that I've hit the abuse button. But enough is enough! Good post.
I gotta admit, that alone is a pretty good reason for supporting the President. Not that your essay was not excellent all around.
Hey, quit trying to spoil it.
We met volunteering at a Support the Troops Rally.
What a great lady - terrific sense of humor. Sorry to hear she's gone.
How do you know they're sneaking in if nobody (including you) is looking?
Good grief. And goodbye for good.
Mother's Day.
