They know the guard is not going to detain anyone. This is purely an attempt to escalate the anger within the conservative movement.

Now why would a corrupt friend of the leftists want to do that with the GOP so "together" right now? Hmmmmmm

As Congress moves forward to reform our nation’s immigration laws, the ACLU said the US must reject measures that threaten to increase the bloodshed on our borders. "Innocent peoples’ lives and liberty should not be threatened by this dangerous deployment," said ACLU Director Anthony Romero.

According to numbers in a statement by Rep. Steve King (R-IA) illegal aliens are responsible for the deaths of 9,125 Americans per year and sexually abuse 2,920 American children annually. It is apparent that the ACLU has no concern for these thousands of American citizens and, instead, are helping the invaders who are killing those Americans.

America has laws that govern this---they are not being enforced (so what else is new?).

Congress provided in the Civil Rights Act of 1866 declaring persons born in the US who are subject to a foreign power are deemed to be non-citizens of the United States.

That means individuals born here---including children of immigrants ----who are running around carrying Mexican flags, following the orders of the Mexican government, are not considered US citizens under the 1866 US Civil Rights law.

The recent protests--invaders carrying Mexican flags---and the Mexican government share the same goals: legalize Mexican illegal aliens and keep the borders open.

The Mexican government sees this as a way to relieve economic pressure on their government to reform the economy. Mexico's leaders also work to retain the loyalty of the immigrant mobs so that, even if our laws allow them to become American citizens, they retain their loyalty to Mexico, and are subjects of the Mexican government.

This outrageous plan is being discussed thanks to the dupes in the US Congress.

In the Mexican Congress, it was recently announced that a document would be drafted, to show support for the protest marches in our country. The Mexican government published advertisements in leading American newspapers calling for the legalization of illegal immigrants (those in the United States, not in Mexico) and "a far-reaching guest workers scheme." Not only that, said the ads, but "in order for a US guest workers program to be viable, Mexico should participate in its design, management, supervision and evaluation."

In other words, the Mexican government wants veto power over U.S. immigration policy.

Outrageously, many in our own government are assuming the Hyphenate-Fellate position and are only too happy to oblige, as long as there's votes and campaign contributions to be had.

Ruben Aguilar, spokesman for President Vicente Fox, made this statement to support the marches: "The recent protests carried out in different places in the United States are indicative of the imminent necessity of a migratory accord that corresponds to the interests of both countries, and that especially to the defense of the rights of migrants. The government of the (Mexican) Republic ratifies its commitment to the Mexicans who live in the United States and its intention to work in the defense of their rights ..."

Congress must act to deny citizenship to any American who is subject to, and who is following the orders of, a foreign government under the Civil Rights Act of 1866 declaring persons born in the US who are subject to a foreign power are deemed to be non-citizens of the United States.

Anthony D. Romero is the ACLU's sixth executive director, and the first Latino and openly gay man to serve in that capacity. He came to the organization from the Ford Foundation's Human Rights and International Cooperation Program, Romero also served for nearly five years as a Ford Foundation Program Officer for Civil Rights and Racial Justice; and for two years on the program staff of the Rockefeller Foundation.

What a surprise, the Anti-American ACLU does not think the US has a right to defend it's borders. I am shocked (not).

I could solve the problem.

Florida has a bunch of alligators they don't want in the everglades.

Lets bring them to the border states between Mexico and America.

?Que? I thought the human suffering came in by letting poor, illegal squatters cross the hot, thirsty desert. By having our Guards pick them up, they're saving lives!

Message to Fox: Screw you.

[...the ACLU said the US must reject measures that threaten to increase the bloodshed on our borders. "Innocent peoples’ lives and liberty should not be threatened by this dangerous deployment...]

What bloodshed? This is a statement for international consumption.

My understanding is that the national guard will be unarmed and deployed for construction... Probably a fence building deployment.

The Senate voted to build a fence that would help protect communities from drug runners and funnel illegals toward border guards.

Not to worry. Bill O'Reilly has this one under control. He announced tonight that as soon as the first lawsuit is filed he is calling for a boycott!

Yeah, that'll fix them {insert eye rolling here} >Sarc<

The President is charged with national defense in the Constitution, NOT the courts.

Defending the nation's border is a national defense issue.

IF this is tried by the ACLU and the Mexicans, Bush should refuse to respond in any way or answer the Courts on this subject.

Its NONE of their business.

Anyone who is a member of the ACLU is a left leaning supporter of communism.

ACLU does not care about Americans welfare.
