Laura Bush has never used an unkind word against anyone, and deserves better from those CLAIMING Conservative status. I think saving social security is another reason Bush is in favor of eventual citizenship for illegals. The Dumbocrats and RINOs wouldn't let him fix the problem outright, so I think this is plan B.

I don't consider myself to be one. Apparently some folks at FR consider me to be one or are simply unsure due to the diversity of opinions I have on many issues. As is obvious some folks just, plain and simple, hate my guts.
I do consider myself to be contentious, brash, argumentative and yet steadfast in my own beliefs, which I usually come to after careful consideration. I prefer a persuasive argument. I loved "the days of flame" of old and I tend to revert to my old ways though I've been trying hard not to "fall away" in that regard.
And, to be frank, I could care less what somebody thinks of me personally. This isn't supposed to be a popularity contest. This is supposed to be a concerted effort to raise awareness of issues this nation faces and figuring out what should and could be done to remedy things.

An FYI beforehand...I'm gainfully employed and have been for years, rarely having filed for unemployment even when I was not working, which happens quite often in the petrochemical industry. I have never been to DU, and I get no talking points from anybody, especially not the DNC.
So where do we go from here?
