For what it's worth, my wife and I both uninstalled "Real Player" because it seemed to be associated with some bad behavior in our computers.

Curious to know if anyone else, including Bahbah, has had any difficulties with Real Player.

Thanx

I have had no computer problems related to RealPlayer. I had a great deal of trouble with QuickTime, however, and it gave me a dickens of a time even uninstalling it.

A lot of people have reported problems with Real Player.

I don't have much experience with it, because until now, I have avoided it.

At best it its heavy on system resources, at worst, some have called it spyware. I don't exactly say that, just reporting what I've heard.

Thanks for the information about Real Player. We have been having problems and although I got rid of a bunch by getting rid of Weather Bug (NEVER INSTALL THAT MONSTER) I think I will uninstall Real Player. I don't use it much and maybe it will speed up my computer if I get rid of it.

I've also had some semi-bad experience with RealPlayer. Two computers before the one I'm using now didn't like it, but I'm not enough of a geek to know exactly why. I try to use windows player as much as possible now, and no problems.

On my previous system where I had limited memory, I had to remove Real Player.

My system acted so much better after I did.

Have you run "Spyare" finder program?

Sometimes spyware can really sloooooooooow down a system.

It's 12:30 - where's Tony?

I've had many problems with RealPlayer and my PC once I installed their 10.5 version (about a month ago).
