On my previous system where I had limited memory, I had to remove Real Player.
My system acted so much better after I did.
Have you run "Spyare" finder program?
Sometimes spyware can really sloooooooooow down a system.

THank goodness, Tony separated the Terrorist Surveillance Program listening to foreigners from the data analysis program. THere has been all together too much conflation of the two.
