Tony Snow will be a good thing for Bush.

Bush is already starting to fool all of the people some of the time. I can't wait till he gets to the part where he can't fool all the people all the time.

35% is nothing to celebrate. The media continues to poll "adults" rather than likely voters or even registered voters.

You don't compair two different companies' polling reports and say there is a jump of 6 points. They use different methodologies.

Build one of these and Bush's approval ratings would JUMP 20 POINTS!

I don't think you can compare different polls like this to determine public reaction to the news. The methodology differs from poll to poll, so the real indicator is the trend within each poll - which may tell the same story, of course.

Comparing polls from two different polling companies? Sheesh...Newsmax can really be pathetic sometimes.

If he promotes and enforcement first policy on illegal immigration his numbers with likely voters will surge.

For once it seems that many Americans agree with me.

A wild lefty liberal co-worker accosted me at work and declared: "George Bush is listening to your phone calls, what do you think of that?

My immediate thought was: how does he keep himself awake?, as I usually get shopping lists from Mrs. Patriot. Somehow I don't think this is going to make my life worse.

No, not a bad thing.....I voted for him twice thinking I was voting for a conservative president. It now seems that he is actually a globalist/trilateralist puppet that can only play 2nd oboe in the global orchestra to Vincente Fox.
It looks like he will go down in the annals of history as the Republican Party's "Jimmy Carter".....sad, sad, sad.

Today's Rasmussen has W at 40%.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Bush_Job_Approval.htm

Not great, but probably more realistic.

The MSM bash went a little too far.

They are unmasking both themselves and the Dim's as being pro terrorist.

Newsmax is really a hack-ish embarassment. Newsweek never polled Bush at 29%.

Too bad Clintoon still can't be prosecuted for obtaining FBI records of pubbies. However, the prez needs all the help. I'm still incensed that clintoon signed the '94 bill when the demoncRATS controlled the House legalizing electronic evesdropping regardless. The clintoons were the worst thing that ever happened to the American people.

the irony is that idiot Campbell Brown was all over NBC news this morning with a Newsweak poll which stated 58% of Americans say the NSA has gone to far...

Harris and Newsweek polls are always at least five points behind the real numbers.

Stick with Rassmussen. They are the most accurate.

And if he armed the NG at the borders it would jump 12 points.

At some point, Bush's ratings will go up simply because people are tired of hearing him being bashed on the news, and the endless "his poll numbers suck" stories. I think I've seen a story every-single-day on the news now about how bad Bush's ratings are. That's gotta be p!ssing some people off by now.
