For once it seems that many Americans agree with me.

A wild lefty liberal co-worker accosted me at work and declared: "George Bush is listening to your phone calls, what do you think of that?

My immediate thought was: how does he keep himself awake?, as I usually get shopping lists from Mrs. Patriot. Somehow I don't think this is going to make my life worse.

I hope you told that co-worker that he/she was either pathetically misinformed or deliberately lying. "Listening to your phone calls" would have been clinton's Echelon or Carnivore programs.

They undoubtedly had no objections to those I'm sure. Surprise, surprise. :=)
