BUSH SET FOR IMMIGRATION SPEECH WHITE HOUSE President Bush is getting set for a prime-time speech on Aides note the 8 p-m, Eastern Time, speech will be the president's first from the Oval Office that does not involve Iraq and the war on terrorism. And they say that reflects Bush's He's speaking as the Senate is poised to clear a compromise measure including his idea for a guest worker program. However, a rival House bill is limited to a border crackdown, and meshing the two won't be easy. Stand Up For America ! |

Well we have truly been ready for a third party for 30 years but we'd all have to pick the same one and stick with it, would enough disenfranchised voters do this, or is it the same old comfortable pair of shoes, don't want to chance the new fit for the old?
Someone remind him he took the Oath to the United States, to us!
Bush Wants Newcomers to Learn English
The White House took both sides in a dispute over English being the national language Friday as a broad immigration bill moved toward a final Senate vote next week with {{{one conservative}}} -ONE- predicting it will never become law.

Sen. Jeff Sessions (news, bio, voting record), R-Ala., an ardent opponent of the bill conceded Friday it is likely to pass next week. "The Senate should be ashamed of itself," he said. But he also predicted to reporters that it won't become law unless House and Senate negotiators rewrite it.

I agree that what Lou Dobbs is presently doing is dynamically good, and no doubt filling household TV screens with hard hitting, and call it as it is news. I'm watching him more now, than before. But, he wasn't always this way, nor has the other talking heads at CNN changed either. Lou Dobbs is the only person there of interest for me, the rest suck. CNN is still battering the war on terror, and using our military body count as a negative benchmark. CNN's polls were dropping and needed a lift. Maybe they're learning that Conservative households want to hear more like what FOX News is telecasting?
Just saw this did we know this?!

Well, I considered doing that but, since this is such a fast-moving thread, I didn't think I'd have time to put all those cute little 'Border-Patrol Hats' on 'em all.
...Maybe NEXT time.
