BUSH SET FOR IMMIGRATION SPEECH WHITE HOUSE President Bush is getting set for a prime-time speech on Aides note the 8 p-m, Eastern Time, speech will be the president's first from the Oval Office that does not involve Iraq and the war on terrorism. And they say that reflects Bush's He's speaking as the Senate is poised to clear a compromise measure including his idea for a guest worker program. However, a rival House bill is limited to a border crackdown, and meshing the two won't be easy. Stand Up For America ! |
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

And isn't that interesting?
The MSM, which is decidedly anti-conservative and consistently antagonistic to Bush, is aligned with Bush ideologies on pro-illegals. Their coverage consistently lacks the negative news stories about anything illegals.
It's not the MSM, however, who's to be questioned about their pro-illegal stance. If I ever found myself aligned with the lamestream media's ideologies, I'd question if my values were conservative at all.
National Lawyers Guild.....if I recall from back in my pajamahadeen (swifity) research on Kerry, I believe that I remember equating NLG with Ramsey Clark
If I ever found myself aligned with the lamestream media's ideologies, I'd question if my values were conservative at all."
Yet, I cannot tell you how many times over the past week I've read or been told personally by certain people here that I've fallen prey to the MSM and Dem's successful agenda to divide the party, I've fallen prey to 'the enemy' and the path of destruction.
Some people are downright frightening.
I know; it's the GOPbots new talking points; obviously done to marginalize. They turn everything around on its head and accuse those who are trying to save our Republic of being traitors. FOFL! They're the sell outs. That makes them the traitors.
At least 10 times in the last 10 weeks, U.S. law enforcement officers and soldiers have been fired upon by assailants in Mexico. But that statistic doesn't even begin to tell the story of how high tensions are running along the border. If the situation doesn't cool off, the Mexican border in 1997 could redefine the way Americans think of "a long, hot summer."
"There have been more firefights on the border in recent weeks than there have been in Bosnia," said an exasperated Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-El Cajon, before passage of a little-noticed bill last week authorizing President Clinton to send up to 10,000 troops to the Mexican border to help stop illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

Lou has the Heritage guy on right now.
I figure they are either not as attentive as they claim, blind in their love or hire or otherwise make money off of illegal immigration.
The most frightening is people like John McCain and thank GOD we are paying attention, like Robert Recter just said, if Jeff Sessions had not brought this to the forefront the Senate likely would have passed the worst of the worst in the dead of night -- and Robert Recter (Heritage Foundation) is not a left winger.
Mine, too... and I suspect that number is probably 50/50.
whatever the percent, it's definitely not because of their love for American or the future of this country comes first.
The dems are laughing at us -- Robert Zimmerman, Dem Strategist, on right now, says the GOP is going to make up an issue to get the base gined up -- the GOP Guy basically told him if he believes the people in this country are just gined up he's as dumb as Harry Reid... and what he thinks is in November the people are going to throw out Dems as well as GOP -- if that is the case it could turn out a wash with some new blood.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
He's not the only person who's suggested 3rd party may end up getting some seats this November.
yep; plain old-fashioned greed.
If it would actually make some people think instead of pander.....
