I'm afraid the response of a majority Europeans and Britons would be "Nothing to see here! Everyone move away please!".
I hope I will be proven wrong, and that Mr Weigel may probably don't know the real pictures "on the ground". But I'm not optimistic.

"Not a single EU member has a replacement-level fertility rate, i.e., the 2.1 children per woman needed to maintain a stable population."
And your point is?
Who says that the exising European population level is desirable?
Why shouldn't populations regulate their own future?
The argument is about foreign immigrant populations intruding and breeding their way to ascendancy.

Excellent piece on the disaster in the making in Europe.

This article is a sad prognosis for Europe. The Europeans I know and talk to about these topics are quite aware of the realities described. They don't see any hope for improvement of the situation, and therefore decline to have kids without a future. The EU government with its increasing regulations over national governments has contributed to a decline of nationalism, which while reducing the potential of future wars, has also contributed to a feeling of futility and lack of purpose. With their high level of unemployment due to socialistic obstacles to entrepreneurship, they're mainly concerned about survival, as we've seen in the recent French protests. And this is what the liberals have in store for us here, by advocating more powers to the United Nations.

An excellent article.
Europeans, for the most part, have declared God dead.
Europeans, for the most part, will soon be the ones dead.

We have our own immigrants our government is allowing in to maintain an overall stable birthrate. They are called Mexicans. However, they happen to be Christian [with a few Kommies thrown in].

...according to the governments official bulletin, the expression father will be replaced by Progenitor A, and mother will be replaced by Progenitor B. This is a sexist outrage demanding immediate reparation.
Why is "father" A, and "mother" B? I expect the usual suspects to spring into action any time now.

Well, I read the whole thing. Common sense sees that history does actually repeat itself. What we are seeing here is Europe in about 1936/7/8. Europeans are slightly aware that their culture is being compromised and it seems that the old aside, "We have seen the enemy and it is us" is more valid than ever.
IMO one of two things will happen in the next 10-20 years.
Europe will bend over and take it from the Muzzies all the while patting themselves on the back for how open and liberal they are until the day that they are forced to face Mecca and pray five times a day, then;
Someone now unknown will find the guts to stand up and unite what is left of strong manhood/womanhood and Christian culture and start a little dust-up which will lead to another European civil war which will then cause the US (if we have not been totally emasculated by our own leftists) to go and try to save thankless, arrogant, appeasing, clueless, disarmed, wimpy European butts, yet again.
If it happens that way and Europe survives, they will hate us for saving them again.
I know whole cultures disappear in the course of history, maybe it's time for Europe to pay the bill.

In short, the moral relativism of Europe is often mere window-dressing, a mask for Western self-hatred.
The above sentence summarizes most of the article.

Sheesh. The endless European accomodations described in this article reminds me of a jailhouse b!+ch trying to keep his "husband" happy.
Please excuse my bluntness, but they are really bending over to take it again and again.

The alternative approach to Europe’s future was graphically on display last August upon the death of Robin Cook, the former British foreign secretary (and critic of the Iraq war). The funeral service was held in the historic “High Kirk” of Edinburgh, St. Giles, and led by Bishop Richard Holloway, the erstwhile Anglican primate of Scotland, who some years ago wrote a book attempting to reconcile his readers to what he termed the “massive indifference of the universe.” Holloway later described the funeral in these words: “Here was I, an agnostic Anglican, taking the service in a Presbyterian church, for a dead atheist politician. And I thought that was just marvelous. That just about sums up the whole problem.

Well, it's just as we have been saying: If it were not for Enemy A, Enemy B would have been dispatched forthwith and would be no problem.
I.e., dump the Left into the oubliette of history, and our foreign enemies will just wither on the vine.
The more Americans see of Europe and of the American Left, and its Propaganda Machine (the "Mainstream Newsmedia"), its Political Machine (the Democrat Party), and its leaders (Pelosi, Dean, Reid, Kennedy, Boxer, Schumer, Feinstein, Kennedy, Carter, Kerry, Gore, etc., et al.), the more they resolve to Vote Republican.
Europe is suicidal.
America is not.
Middle America is the last, great bastion of ascendancy, health, vision, optimism, sound judgment, truth, enlightenment, liberalism, clarity, and strength in the world today. It is the custodian of Western Civilization. It is the great hope of a dangerous and frightened world.
We must prevail, and we will prevail.
Do not let anger, frustration, or anything else cloud your judgment!
The leadership of Middle America is needed now as never before!
Remain steadfast.
And note tagline. Our threat is the Left. We must defeat them; that done, the others will be of little consequence. Keep your mind clear and your judgment sound.
