"This investigation began March 23 after ICE was notified of a man whose Social Security number was discovered to be invalid, following his application to reside in a Cedar Falls mobile home village."Sad that in this day and age the only ones to figure out a SSN is phony is a mobile home park!!

Hey angkor - when he's done there send him out to your western suburb neighbors in Herndon, where the citizens finally had enough, and fired the mayor and entire Town Council last week because they set up a tax-funded day labor site.

****In those headliner raids and arrests of 1200 illegals a couple of weeks ago, most were released within 5 hours -- after the headline of the arrests, of course.****
++++Source to back up this claim other then some pressure groups PR sheet or website?++++
Excuse the interruption, but as to a source - It was reported the next day on FoxAndFriends that all the illegals were released after getting a 'notice to appear ticket'. I don't know if it was "five hours" but they all were in fact released.
It might be in the Fox News website archives, but it is true as I saw that segment with my own little eyes.

have caused more people to turn away from the GOP than any single person on this forum. I think that is your true objective..... I think that you are a troll. A plant. A sleeper agent. A DNC shill. His tone and tactics seem amazingly similar to those we used to see during the Clinton years.

Gracias. ;-)
If we all hit abuse every time he posts that abusive, thread-spamming bile, maybe the mods will do something about it.

Build the wall, fine employers who hire illegals, illegals go home, then we can talk about guest workers.
No amnesty, no guest voters, nothing complicated about that.

And what would be wrong with investigating those that are illegal? Sounds like something you would want to do automatically. Otherwise you have an enormously corrupt SS system -- on second thought, never mind.

Well, you see, I don't want to see conservatives driven away from the GOP. MNJohnnnie obviously does. I want the GOP to stop doing things that drive conservatives away.

For starters,
from The Mercury News.com, April 28, 2006
Many illegal immigrants arrested in raid already out of custody
For a variety of reasons, another 400 of the illegal workers arrested have already been processed and released...
In Dallas, 93 illegal workers were arrested, all from Mexico. Of those, 90 agreed to be deported. [Wanna bet how many of those 90 are already back --- illegally?]
In Houston, of 67 arrested, according to a Houston ICE spokeswoman, only 12 were actually deported. The rest were released. [Wanna bet how many of those are already back --- illegally?]
Those arrested outside Albany were released on their own recognizance with orders to report to a federal magistrate in Albany on May 4. [Wanna bet how many actually showed up for their May 4 appointment?]
This is just 1 newspaper report. Check it Internet. I'm sure you can find many others with similar
caught, but released scenarios.

There are many on FR that rant against us that demand border security. We all know who they are are know they hate the USA. But the mods let them hang around (I think they keep them since they don't want FR to become too much of an echo chamber).

Someone posted the following in another thread yesterday. It is most appropriate as a response to those who whine that we can't do anything with all those illegals who are already here.

President Bush says there is no way we can deport 12 million people. It is just can't be done.
Mexico did.

when he's done there send him out to your western suburb neighbors in Herndon, where the citizens finally had enough, and fired the mayor and entire Town Council last week because they set up a tax-funded day labor site. That is precisely correct. The fine citizens of Herndon (which is 25 percent Hispanic) ousted 5 of 7 of the Town Council including the mayor last week, due specifically to their contested, opposed, and well-publicized support for an illegal alien "day laborer" center which the townspeople *did not want*.
In November, I'll vote for George Allen because he is opposed to amnesty, but my House vote makes no difference against our despicable and Kennedy-like Rat incumbent James Moron.
But I suppose in other areas Republicans will be paying a very high price, just as the Town Council did in Herndon.
Buh byyye!

You know, I've said these things to him before (actually, I think you may have commented on my remarks). He never responds. Maybe he's gathering his sycophants about him. We'll see.

While the arrests are to be commended, one can't help but wonder if we wouldn't get more bang for our buck if ICE and other investigative agencies were to initiate investigations of larger businesses -- those that hire thousands of illegal aliens.
Everyone knows for a fact Tyson Foods, Perdue, and the meat packing plants never hire illegal aliens. sarcasm/off

And this should be the primary point of investigation. I have read that approx. 9.3 million SSN's are bogus(still can't find official source, wonder why?) Social Security knows where the employers are and should turn all info over to ICE and the rest of Homeland Security.
Three months ago Senator Brownback told us in a townhall meeting that he had been in a meeting at the White House where it was stated there are over 400,000 in this country with the same Social Security number.....000-00-0000.
