That is precisely correct. The fine citizens of Herndon (which is 25 percent Hispanic) ousted 5 of 7 of the Town Council including the mayor last week, due specifically to their contested, opposed, and well-publicized support for an illegal alien "day laborer" center which the townspeople *did not want*.
In November, I'll vote for George Allen because he is opposed to amnesty, but my House vote makes no difference against our despicable and Kennedy-like Rat incumbent James Moron.
But I suppose in other areas Republicans will be paying a very high price, just as the Town Council did in Herndon.
