"I understand that she loves her father, but her loyalty to his career comes at a tremendous cost to millions of gay Americans who don't hold a fraction of the rights of other Americans."
"Don't hold a fraction of the rights? Jeez, these people ARE dramatic..."
I will give $500 to anyone who can name three rights homosexuals don't have that heterosexuals do.

No, these people are lying, deviant, psychopaths who will stop at nothing to convince OUR children they are perfectly normal and OUR children must embrace them.
I feel that way about democrats too. That was what you were referring to, wasn't it?

Mary's just not gay enough for them I guess.
I agree with you. I think that is exactly what the libs believe. Although I don't agree with her on this, but don't bash her. I would rather have 1000000 Mary's instead of these liberals.

NEVER expect praise or acceptance from the Left. NEVER I hope I never go so horribly wrong that I deserve praise from the left.

I don't know. If I were gay and in a relationship, why not give power of attorney to my lover, leave a will and make sure all items are in order at my time of death. Oh, and of course, if sperm donor children are involved, the same thing. Now, what rights other than property rights upon marriage between a man and a woman have I missed. Oh, please don't through health benefits into the whole mess. You barely save anything married or single from company 'group' benefits anyway.
Heterosexual in Florida. Just D@mn!

And they wonder why they don't get taken seriously. Sadly, they do get taken seriously. In fact, they are largely dictating public policy right now.

When I stop laughing and scrape the hyperbole off my screen from that ridiculous statement, I'll comment.

Much as I hate the left, most media people are something even worse. Oh they are liberals and leftists alright, but mostly they are hacks devoted to the democrat party.
Which means they have no principles, just partisan agenda and they will screw you and the country to get a political advantage. In short, they are exactly what they constantly accuse republicans of being - partisan.

But is that number growing or shrinking? I guess on the West coast and East coast it gets a lot of play...but everywhere else...I don't know. Here in Texas the Amendment to the Constitution defining marriage as that between a man and a woman only saw opposition from one county...and weak opposition at that.

OK, you're basically talking about rights associated with marriage, which some companies provide anyway through domestic partner benefits. So that's really one thing. To say "a fraction of the rights"? A little over the top.

No they're not, except in a couple states. We should realize our victories when we get them.

For me, if a person is right about something, then they are right about that one thing. If they are wrong about something else, then they are wrong about that.
I appreciate Tammy's support on the issues that we agree about, and will oppose her on those that I don't. Liberals are the one for whom "politics is personal"

I think we're agree to agree. All the b*tching about "all we want is equal rights" is ridiculous. They can have everything they want legally if they pursue correctly. I'm just over this hysterical mantra from the gay community. Get over yourselves and your sexual preferences. Most of us don't care. It's your life and your destiny.
Stay our of my life and I'll stay out of yours.

"I despise democrats."
You are not alone.
Pray for me here in New Orleans as these people are the most incompetent and irresponsible people in the world.
And yes, the vast majority are proud democrats...

The New Orleans/Louisiana democrats are most competent people in the world... when it comes to stealing money. I would be amazed if $1 out of $3 federal rebuilding money ever makes it to "Nawlins."
