I am not sure where the 50% number comes from however, while I am not able to quantify the probability, I believe the use of nuclear weapons is a virtual certainty. Everyone will certainly loose in this. Sad really, since my experience teaches me that one on one basis folks are pretty much the same all over the world in regard to their wants and desires. Regardless, the world is choosing camps and it appears humanity will be at each others throat in the very near future.

Agree. I think America rounded up its allies for a World War III. There are a whole lot of shit faces that need to be wiped out at one go. Its time America did something imperial for a change instead of sitting idle and being called names by a bunch of worthless petty criminals in Iran and Venezuela.
