Interesting. Question: Do you know if the Pentagon is planning on posting any English-translated versions of these documents on their website?
To: eyespysomething; jveritas
Thanks for the pings eye....jveritas, thank you for continuing your search of the documents. This is a tremendous service for the nation.

I do not know. So their translators are just scanning through the documents and putting on synopsis.
PS: Many of the synopsis they post miss the important parts of the documents, and few of the synopsis are just plain wrong regarding the content of the document.

Some of it is. Usually that is mentioned in the title.
Most isn't, that's been the problem. They get a cursory overview by someone, but they are looking for more current, actionable intel, and scan for names of specific people et al.
Millions of pages of docs that need to be translated.

If a thousand readers of Arabic felt it was their duty, this pile of wheat could be winnowed down to the grain and translated to English in days or weeks. It seems like you are the one we can count on to dig for us all.
Thanks.

Colin Powell looks pretty naive now for having renounced his UN speech. Naive is putting it politely.

I cannot think of what kind of mobile lab would need that kind of equipment.
- "Measurement device for the speed of vibration"
- "Measurement device for the speed of rotation"
- almost sound like mobile enriching lab but I'm sure that is not really possible or efficient enough.
- "Ultrasonic wave test device"
- "Different pressure measurement devices"
- "Mobile testing device for metals"
- "X-Ray testing device"
- Sounds more like a mobile bio- or chem-weapons lab given that pressure vessels are key to production and you don't want any leaks or weakened materials.
Certainly doesn't sound like a mobile hydrogen production lab for weather ballons (like the Iraqi Survey Group said.)
To: jveritas
But GOSH! Some British scientist who hadn't ever seen those labs said they were just to produce hygrogen for weather balloons...and Combover insisted they were for testing food...and the MSM tells us that since the IS can't confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that the two vehicles analyzed for anything but filling up heluim baloons for the tots in the children's prisons that there NEVER WERE any mobile labs, anywhere!
I am SOOOOOOOO CONNNNFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZEDD!!!!!
P.S. Thank you again for your dedication to what is currently the most important task in the WoT: the search for proof that taking out the Saddam regime was important to the security of the free world.
