CHICAGO--More than 150 antiracist activists protested May 4 against the anti-immigrant vigilante group the Minuteman Project, shutting down their meeting.
Originally, a member of the Minutemen was invited to debate an activist from the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) at a church in Chicagos multiracial Logan Square neighborhood. The night before the event, however, the ICIRR backed out after it learned that a neo-Nazi group had put out a call to come support the Minutemen.
But that didnt deter activists. While 60 demonstrated outside with chants like, No Nazis, no Minuteman--we oppose your fascist plan, another 90 gathered inside the church.
The church pastor didnt begin the meeting with a prayer, but with a singing of the national anthem. The pastor then announced that, since the ICIRR had withdrawn, a statement would be read on its behalf, and that Rosanna Pulido, the Latina spokesperson of the Illinois Minutemen, would then have the floor.
But for protesters, this action was tantamount to giving racists a megaphone. All the media is here. If no one came to oppose [the Minutemen], how would they do anything but grow? said Saba Khan, one of the Anti-Minutemen 5, a group of activists arrested in October 2005 for protesting against the Illinois Minutemen

I disagree with that definition, but also find myself wondering how many of our elected officials would be in perfect agreement with those words.
I know, and I hate that. I get that from this liberal "friend" of mine allot. He and others state that communism is far left, and Nazis or fascism is the far right. It is liberal nonsense, but a popular lie. The Nazi's political title and policies reflect far left socialistic politics.
Many of these border protesters are sponsored by various socialist groups, and these same groups call the law abiding US Citizens "Nazis".

"antiracist activists "
HUH?
Is that an aztec indian ?? (1st picture)
Could be, or maybe there was another kind of "pride" parade going on in the streets of San Fancisco that same day.
I do understand all too well, but we have allowed the opposition and our elected Congresscritters to define what being an American means.
Hint: It isn't open borders and fungible labor.
We should be reframing the statements. That's the only way to redefine the arguments.
This administration and the enemy Democrat Party, have shown a blatent dis-regard for the sovereignty of this country.
Further, we are evolving into a lawless nation, inasmuch as laws are not enforced, oaths of office are not enforced, and the U.S. Constitution is not enforced.
We can put our heads in the sand, make believe this is not so, but a logical man must face realities.
We can adapt and survive, or we can be stomped on and eradicated, but the change is coming.
Thanks.
