The mass re-enlistment of 640 GIs of the 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment is considered invaluable to the Army's future.
A year ago, as Iraqi fighters detonated a bomb that shattered his convoy, Army Sgt. Gene Braxton led survivors scrambling out of their Humvees in the hot dusty haze to hunt for the triggermen.
Five months later, a bigger roadside bomb rocked the armored vehicle Braxton was in. Reeling from a concussion, he dragged a wounded buddy to safety.
Back in Colorado, Braxton has re-enlisted and will undergo parachute jump training in preparation for a possible third stint of combat duty in Iraq.

Bravo for these great warriors!
Of course the MSM will never cover this, or if they do, they will claim everyone of these fine warriors are from slum areas and were forced to join the military.

I do not think I'm alone, you ass. And my "braying" on an event driven basis is one born out of frustration. Thanks for taking a "holier-than-thou" crap on an otherwise good thread.

The one thing that the left will NEVER understand is Duty.
They'll never feel the nose ring being pulled by the call; if it doesn't involve someone else's pocketboot or sex life they can't see it. Sacrifice is an abstract related only to their diet.
Thank you, each and every one of you that has served.
God bless these men for responding to the call of duty.

While our politicians in Washington and elsewhere are bickering over mostly useless nonsense like spoiled children and otherwise getting nothing done, our military is out in the field doing the heavylifting for freedom and the security of the U.S.A.

Hooah!
I breezed right by it before with the old title.
THIS one makes sense.
God bless our brave soldiers
