MIAMI -- Cigar aficionados beware: Those handmade Montecristos, Cohibas and Romeo y Julietas aren't necessarily premium smokes. Law-enforcement and cigar industry officials say counterfeiters are marketing millions of dollars in fake upscale cigars, some even pretending to be authentic Cubans that are illegal to sell in the United States. A crackdown uncovered several major counterfeit operations, including one in Miami that resulted in the seizure of more than $20 million in fake stogies, labels and packaging.

Was it green?..........
I think those were Italian cigars...a friends' father coined the name Guinea Stinkers for the ones his friend smoked.
I'm a tobacco lover in al its inceptions, smoking Marlboro Reds or rolling my own cigarettes, dipping Copenhagen, and smoking Backwoods when I feel llike a cigarillo.
On those formal occaissions which seem to be very few and far between these days, I like a good Drew Estates Acid.
I've tried many of the top dollar cigars, and with the possible exception of the Ghurkas, prefer the spicier Acids to the more conventionally aged cigars and find that others tend to find them less offensive.
Although I prefer a pipe in more northerly climes, I still like Middleton's apple pipe tobacco in the fall and winter...
You're a cigar afficianado?
Do you know of a reliable low-cost online vendor you would recommend for me? I need to get some cigars for a bachelor party.
Back when I would smoke an occasional cigar, I liked Fuente Fuente Opus X.
Ditto.
My pusher tells me, he is having a difficult time acquiring stock. Apparently, the storms last year did more damage to tobacco than thought.
Kramer : You got cigars , huh .
Jerry : I got some Cubans for George's wedding . They were more than I wanted to pay for but what the hell !
Kramer : Oh yeah baby . spit , spit . What are these ? " Perducto de Peru " Jerry , if you think these are Cubans you have another thing coming .
Jerry : Peru ! I paid $300 bucks for these . I could have bought a house in Peru for $300 bucks !
I love the Opus X and they're not as difficult to get as people think, you just need to be willing to pay for them. I bought two boxes in Vegas last winter. However, if you go to the right sources, you can get GENUINE Cubans at a very good price.

Save the cigar money for the strippers! :-)
Seriously though, try Cigarsinternational.com, their prices are as good as anything out there. If most of the people don't smoke cigars that often, you will probably want to stick with a milder one. Try their specials you should be able to get a box of 20 for under $100.

Try the rum. Chicks dig 'em...
Finally, it's Summer!
Cohiba ping!
Cagey and Larry, we seriesly need to get one of those t-shirts!
Pink Owl was always my favorite.
I'll get a hold of my friend, Bob Sacamano. He works at a silk screening company over in Jersey and I'm sure he can get his hands on some.
Ok, maybe someone knowledgable can comment on this.
I've been under the impression that Castro ran out all the top cigar families (capitalist pigs) and screwed up the tobacco fields through years of over fertilization. So now, Cuban cigars have little value aside from a status symbol and the old families that were displaced around the region, like Dominican Republic, have been producing superior cigars but they just don't have that marketing edge of being "Cuban".
