It's downright scary when an idiot like this can pack a room of like-minded numbnuts.

I wonder what the Murtha plan is for Iran? After all, that's where the terrorism begins.

Murtha can say anything that he wants because he has such a safe seat apparantly.

Scumbag.

Our political system is a mess, and Murtha is as bad as a Kennedy or any other scumbag.

Murtha introduced a House resolution in Nov. 2005 that called for the withdrawal of U.S. troops. It was defeated by a 403-3 vote.

You'd think he'd have gotten the hint and shut the heck up. (Actually, I don't think Murtha introduced the resolution and I'm also pretty sure he didn't vote for it.)

Murtha's last TV interview was so incoherent, so contradictory and inexplicable, to convince me that this man is well into the second or third stages of senile dementia. That being said, I will not claim I really know much on the subject of geriatric mental illness, and also do not equate either Alzheimer's syndrome or any other kind of mental deterioration with the kind of idiocy we continually hear from Congressman Murtha. Many honorable and respectable older citizens suffer from the aforementioned ailments, and they should never be so dishonored by being compared to this feeble and foolish former military man.

"I'm not saying there's going to be complete peace when we leave,"

Things were just super when the Soviets left Afghanistan so suddenly. The Taliban came to power and restored order. They were so nice they even gave OBL a place to hang out.

After the Russian Afghan War, the US told the Mujhadean that they would help them set up a government. In the process a couple tribal leaders caused trouble and the Taliban stepped in and brought it to civil war. The CIA washed their hands and walked away because they didn't want to be involved in a civil war. Next thing happens is the Taliban wins power and we had to go blow up terrorist camps owned by those who attacked us on 911. I think we should be in Iraq for as long as it takes. I don't want to be on a time table and I think it is foolish to put us on one. When are these people going to sit down and shut up and let us protect freedom? I'm sick of the Murtha's, the Wart Churchill's, the Mikhail Moore's, Dingy Sheehan, Code Pink, and people like the protesters in the picture below:

I would swear that Murtha is getting to be a bigger liar with each progressing article. I guess his dementia is progressing at a rapid rate.

On the lighter side, I recieved a thank you letter from Diana today, she'll recieve more help when the election is closer.

The only way to get the Demoratic leaders to fight is to stand between them and a white flag.

Young Marine Blasts Rep. Murtha at Town Hall Meeting
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1558047/posts

"Yes sir my name is Mark Seavey and I just want to thank you for coming up here. Until about a month ago I was Sergeant Mark Seavey infantry squad leader, I returned from Afghanistan. My question to you, (applause)

"Like yourself I dropped out of college two years ago to volunteer to go to Afghanistan, and I went and I came back. If I didn't have a herniated disk now I would volunteer to go to Iraq in a second with my troops, three of which have already volunteered to go to Iraq. I keep hearing you say how you talk to the troops and the troops are demoralized, and I really resent that characterization. (applause) The morale of the troops that I talk to is phenomenal, which is why my troops are volunteering to go back, despite the hardships they had to endure in Afghanistan."

The public is saying, 'We want to redeploy our troops, the time has come.'"

The only people talking about "redeployment" is this moron and his kool-aid drinking followers.

Madame Binhs 7 point peace proposal July 7, 1971:
1. Regarding the deadline for the total withdrawal of U.S. forces.

The U.S. Government must put an end to its war of aggression in Viet Nam Iraq, stop its policy of "Vietnamization Iraqization" of the war, withdraw from South Viet Nam Iraq all troops, military personnel, weapons, and war materials of the United States and of the other foreign countries in the U.S. camp, and dismantle all U.S. bases in South Viet Nam Iraq, without posing any condition whatsoever.

The U.S. Government must set a terminal date for the withdrawal from South Viet Nam Iraq of the totality of U.S. forces and those of the other foreign countries in the U.S. camps.

Same play book, different year, different war.
These people disgust me!

Go Diana!!!

Murtha will keep saying this till the day troops do leave ( or as rummy has framed it....not brought back in) and then he will declare victory.......claiming that he was right all along.

This is the EXACT same strategy that the islamists employ.....say they will drive us out and no matter how lone we stay some of them will claim they won when we do go. Amazing feeling it must be to be making the same arguments that the islamis fanatics make!

Just to point at the obvious is this from a college paper in Illinois and concerns an event that happened on a college campus in that state (Northwestern).

The overflowing crowd was not in Murtha's district.

As an American and a Marine, I'm sick of hearing from this bottom feeding coward. I don't know what boot camp he went to, but my Drill Instructors never taught us to cut and run.
