When we compared him to Carter he was the equivalent of a saint -- until his big tax increase (1986 if I remember right)...I don't think as many people paid attention to his immigration bill at the time because they were so few compared to 20 years later.

I remember seeing the video and the ACLU and a whole lot of so-called sympathy groups were there yelling in the faces of the Minutemen and Sean.... it was pretty nasty as I recall. Sean has a huge ego, but he has done some good stuff on the border, not sympathetic pieces like Anderson Cooper.
