"This is the ritual "I can't stand Kristol" comment. He just said that Porter Goss was fired. I ask how does Kristol know this?"

Kristol doesn't know squat. He places a lot more importance on himself and his knowledge than most others do.

I question whether the Pres would have sat in the oval office w Goss and said "he led ably", etc. and Goss said something like 'thank you for the trust you placed in me' if he had actually had been fired. I don't recall an oval office event like that happening when Paul O'Neill (former Sect'y of Treas) was asked to step down.

I missed Tom on abc, but the 'panel' is on. Some lady (apparently vandenhovel) talking about the head of Exxon making 400,000 a day but minimum wage has not been raised in over 8 years.

Why do dims want to push gov't healthcare on us, and insist we deserve no more that 'minimum' wage?

After Americans see Flight 93, they perhaps should see the video of the slaughter of this poor woman.

I suspect that you are probably right but I would also think she triggers a lot of it as well.

"If 'conservatives' stay home and do not vote (or vote third part - which is a vote for the dims), we may ALL rot in someplace warm"

If that happens - riot in FL w party at Rodguy's afterwards - LOL!

I love the picture of the General in his very attractive Air force Uniform. I love the color and it matches his eyes.LOL! Seriously that Uniform is probably the most striking of all the Military Uniforms. He also looks like he and Karl Rove could be brothers. Someone did a side by side comparison of Hayden/Rove, and it was amazing how they look so much alike.

I hope Republican voters also realize that if they keep voting in RINOS at the primaries instead of REAL conservatives, that they are only helping to create the problem of people maybe staying home are voting 3rd party....

You are assuming that the problem is with the voters - it is not. Congress has so rigged the system that it is virtually impossible for an incumbent to be replaced through the primary system.

The only way to remove an incumbent is to vote them out of office.

"Dean is calling her "Speaker to be Pelosi"."

Surefire Kiss of Death.

Win or (most likely)lose, Pelosi will get the public blame for the general performance of the dims and spend the rest of her time in Congress locked in her own coat closet or on "fact finding" tours of places without media or cellular coverage.

After the '06 elections, Dean will probably be reassigned to Pelosi's staff so he can join her in exile.

Kristol doesn't know squat.

I agree with you completely about Kristol and it was his comments TODAY that convinced me. This man is a know-nothing who wishes to hell he knew something.

Way I figure, Kristol is an advisor for the shadow government, keeps them updated on all things Republican. Then he carries their water back as talking points on the talk shows.

This way, Kristol becomes somebody from being a nobody.

Insert wink here.

I think that is the most ignorant post I have seen today.

Well........exccussssssssssssssseeeeeeeeee me please.

Maybe I should have said the "absolutely politically success" of the Medicare Drug Plan. If 90% of seniors are happy with it, you may be just foolish for thinking it is NOT a political success.

I'll bring the popcorn! Last time we thought we would lose the WH, the rally point was Texas. Am I to understand that the Rally point will be Florida this time?

At the rate the Stone-age Press is going, these revisionists may be on minimum wage?

Now that's a situation that would make for great reality TV. Dean and Pelosi alone on an island. LOL

As I understand it, one part of the plan is to get rid of the new Medicare presciption thingy

I dont think they want to get rid of it. I think they want to eliminate the section that says the government cant negotiate with pharmaceutical companies to get a better deal on prices...or in other words, they want the gov to use its monopoly power to force the drug companies to lower prices and in one swoop end all drug research in this country. They want to fix prices at low level so they can score political points...just like the Dem congress criters who used to take senior citizens to Canada to buy their prescriptions.
