The population has been disarmed and the Army purged. Cubans run the police force. Chavez has placed a snitch on every block to report disloyalty.

One man, one vote, one time. Same old leftwing a-hole formula. It worked for Hitler, and a host of minor leaguers ever since.

I think a guy mentioned a remedy for this a little while back. If memory serves me right he got strongly criticized for it though.

Yep. Pat Robertson was right and the einsteins of the left were wrong. As per usual.

And, the Dems call Bush a dictator?

And watch over the next year or so. The libs will float the following "Bush will suspend habeas corpus, declare martial law and remain in power". They claimed the same thing about Reagan and Bush 41. Of course, they were silent on Clinton. Go figure.

The only question is sooner or later.

That is the question. All of a sudden, Pat Robertson doesn't seem like such a crackpot, does he?

"His regime, his hold on power, in the end, is a judgment pronounced upon a people who could not find the courage to refuse him."

That is a hard saying. I believe it is true, though, and wonder how long history will indulge our viewing the complicit populations of our sworn enemies as "civilians" (therefore innocent and to be left unscathed in any military conflict).

Of course, they were silent on Clinton.
That's because "our" side had taken up the baton. LOL.

The next logical step in many socialist societies. If the dems thought they could get away with it they'd try it here.

Organization of American States, "I would call a national referendum to have the people decide if I can continue here indefinitely or if I have to go after six years in 2014."

Porky can't add dates very well.

I'm sending Porter Goss to shoot Castro, Hugo and the character from Bolivia. 3 Marxists for the price of one retired CIA agent. Latin America is retreading toward their natural 4th-5th World status and totalitarian ethos.

An option if only "The" intelligence agency put the people that pay it's salary, the elected government and the elected President first priority; ain't gonna happen. The CIA has essentially co-opted foreign policy with it's foot dragging, obfuscation, disinformation, leaks, etc. W needs to send Rummy in there with a bat and broom to clean house.

Someone please get Sheehan's opinion on this... I'd love to hear her defend her buddy Chavez. It would only further erode her already non-existent credibility.

I am glad that she said in a recent speech screech that people who are going to drive rather than use public transit should buy Citgo gasoline, which is largely controlled by Venezuela and thus Chavez. Now I know what gas never to buy. On the other hand, now I gotta think about Sheehan every time I watch a baseball game played at Fenway Park.
