Current poll:
"A time for choosing: It appears that a significant number of our members are so disgusted with the GOP's failure to secure our borders against illegal aliens that they are willing to risk all by voting them out of office, even if it means Pelosi, Reid, Hillary, et al, are allowed to take charge. Is this the best course of action or should we be working harder than ever to hold the line and actually try to make a difference by getting more constitutionally-minded conservatives elected? Are you willing to give it all up or are you more determined than ever to keep the Marxists out of power?" _____
So far, 13% of members and 18%+ of participants in this poll say - turn it over to the rats. What's with that? I cannot believe that 13% of those posting here are so stupid or angry with what is happening that they would turn to the rats for the way back to perfect. Now, 13% will result in a winning vote, in a lot of cases.
Anyway, I guess that there is no compromising for some people - just dig a hole and live there while the rats are in charge. I'm so disappointed.
It sounds to me like a lot of freepers that are afraid of McCain winning..are also the ones that have thrown their hands up...rather than fighting to keep McCain out, and find and promote and fund a STRONG candidate that is more close to what they would like..
However, I am beginning to suspect that there is no candidate that will satisfy some...
As they old saying goes, "There are hone so blind as those who will see."
...but I'll take a not so conservative Republican over any evil Marxist liberal socialist Democrat any day of the week.
Do you honestly believe that voting the Dems in will solve the border problem? The evidence is pretty clear the Dems will make it far worse than it is, with no hope of recovery. Seems to me that all of the most extreme visions of the immi threads will come true, plus you'll get the entire socialist dream given to you as well.
Well, opinions vary and thus far, yours are coming down on the opposite side of reality.
You weren't voting GOP before, so what difference does it make?
LOL! Great minds! I was going to say that but I wasn't sure I could spell it.
IOW, supposedly "true conservative" voters who are kissing hillary's ring.

The time clock was started with the Bush Presidency as far as I am concerned. What Clinton let slide was down the toilet. Now we have a problem that will not be fixed over night. This is something that could have huge repercussions later because of a dumb action taken. It is also like fixing a car while driving down the freeway. You need to be careful that you don't stick something in and cause a disaster.
Sorry you missed the humor.
Bingo!
In one word, Si.
Well, perhaps it was just a bit of childish innueno born out of frustration then.
If you can't see the difference, you're just proving what an absolute idiot you are.
OMG...you really think that you "have nothing" right now, under George Bush???
I can't debate with someone who is so blind.
People who think like that are exactly who I'm talking about. Wait until the socialists in the 'rat party get control.
Wait until your income taxes are increased,
wait until illegals are given carte blanche instead of being required to register and work toward citizenship (look at California),
wait until abortions-on-demand are made mandatory for every hospital (even Catholic ones opposed to the procedure),
wait until Social Security is "saved" by raising the FICA payroll tax to 22%,
wait until gay marriage is written into federal law,
wait until liberal judges re-affirm the eminent domain idea to include every jurisdiction as constitutional,
wait until our foreign policy is dictated by the French and German governments along with the United Nations,
wait until people like Mario Cuomo and more Ruth Bader Ginsburgs are put on the Supreme Court,
wait until we become 95% dependent on foreign oil because the environmentalists are keeping us from drilling own...
then you might remember the Republican party, for all its faults is the one party with a chance to win that is fighting this crap.
I've been watching politics too long to think there isn't a big difference between the two big parties.
