That's one of TWO real stories. The police compilicity and the Kennedy jr. lying.
To: Howlin
Oh, please; he was s**tfaced drunk. That'd be my guess.

Too funny. We finally cross paths ...
I guess we've proven "The Route" is more than big enough for the both of us.

Interesting to see what develops. If the cops don't pursue it, no charges filed....and his lawyers talk fast and say, 'hey, he's already in rehab, which the judge would have insisted on anyway, then let it go.' He'll continue to drink and drive and sooner or later he'll kill someone. Then it'll be the dead person's fault for jumping in front of the car.

Here's the question that must be asked. If Kennedy had actually hit the Capitol Hill policeman or run over a pedestrian would he be getting of scot free just because he announced that he's going to rehab? So why is he getting of scot free for violating the DUI law in the first place? He still needs his day in court to stand before a judge and receive the appropriate sentence for DUI. Yes, so does Rush. Justice is not served when these deals are made. Injustice is served when the rich and powerful can make deals and the common man is left to hang for his offenses.

"According to Rush, he drives himself everywhere. Even pumps his own gas. Imagine that!"
So when he was high on pain meds. he drove??

Anybody want to start a pool on how pedestrians he runs down and how many patrol cars he smashes into along the way?

Oh. Why didn't he just say "Jack Daniels is my little friend?" Because that would leave out, among others,...
- His good Buddy Weiser
- His partner Jimmy Beam
- His pal Johnny Walker, and his brothers Black and Red
- His pet Wild Turkey

Hummm? If true, I am happy for her. If I were married to Ted Kennedy, I would have stayed drunk to tolerate him..

Probably pain pills for whatever he did to himself in his *last* car wreck, 3 weeks ago. At the CVS Pharmacy, no less.

No, I don't believe he couldn't be a Congressman, because MILLIONS of people suffer from various kinds of mental illnesses in MANY types of jobs and they can be successfully treated for their conditions. My 13 yr old son took Ambien. It caused him to hallunciate, make a noose and thought voices were telling him to hang himself. He also sleep walked, and couldn't remember anything he said or what had happened. After he stopped taking the Ambien, he has never has a re-occurrence. We need more info. It is possible he did sleep drive. BUT he knows NOT to drink ontop of anti-depressants or any other sleep aide. This would intensify the effects from both. He needs serious help because it's obviously he doesn't have his Bi-polar under control.

I'm sure he was cornered. This wasn't going to play well with McKinney's situation, and for that matter, still shouldn't.

LOL- Wednesday night sounds more civilized than early Thursday morning.
Shep is doing a surprisingly (to my mind) probing job on reporting the whole incident- he notes the discrepancy between script painkillers vs. ambien vs alcohol.
I think Patrick is being too clever by half. He tells us he has no memory of the evening. He also tells us he had not been drinking. If he doesn't remember the evening- he doesn't know if he drank or not.

Don't forget the most important prop - the framed photo of little John-John saluting his father's casket. That gets them everytime.

Shep continues to dig into the goofy notion that it's the Ambien that is Patches' problem.
Hey Shep!
He said that he's addicted to prescription pain medication, you big dolt!
Stop wasting our time with an investigation of Ambien, and find out which prescription pain medication/s he's addicted to.
I still think he was drunk.

The problem with all of this is that Kennedy's are always given a pass, so they keep on doing self-destructive things and they kill themselves and others. This is beyond dumb. It's insane. For their own good, they should be made to live in the same universe you and I do.

Oh, please; he was s**tfaced drunk. My guess too. Because if he wasn't, he would've taken a breathalizer and passed no problem, and that would've cleared him of at least that.....
