"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "The show show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Put me on your ping list!
Could this be part of the reason W's poll numbers are up?
I am incredibly impressed that you have the knowledge to do something like that. I can usually put my shoes on in the morning and, so far, have been able to refrain from sleepdriving.
I'm in your shoes, Bahbah...I'm lucky I get all the shaving cream off...I'm a systems guy but I haven't done application programming on PCs ever and on mainframes I haven't coded for 20 years!
The Kennedy's keep getting elected because of the Unions and the money the Kennedy's bring to their States

"In his statement, Kennedy said he was apparently disoriented from the drugs when he got up a little before 3 a.m. Thursday and drove to the Capitol thinking he needed to be present for a vote."
Then he had his PJ'S on, right?? Or, in spite of being "disoriented" he was able to dress himself? LOL

Ok- so we have the statement from Kennedy saying he was home asleep- woke up and hurried to vote- groggy from sleeping meds. The waitress at the Hawk & Dove says he was drinking. Has anyone found if she mentioned what TIME he was at the H&D?
I'm an old Cobol and BAL programmer way back when; I "graduated" to database and systems programming (which isn't really programming but involves tweaking parms for the mainframe operating system); and all this "PC" stuff sometimes buffaloes me. I'm awed by dinasour.
If I recall correctly, he said he went home and went to sleep right after the House adjourned.
Exactly. So if the House adjourned at 10ish..did he go directly to the H & D. I'm interested in the timeline.
I tried doing a google .. but I can't pull up the article for some reason

Aw shucks. It was nothing.
I have to run out. I'll check back early this afternoon.
My first computer class - had no computers, went to a bank in Amarillo ONE NIGHT to see a computer - in that large air-conditioning room.
It's located one block away from the Capitol. You do the math.
How many credits was that worth?
So am I. I haven't seen any information on just WHEN he was seen at the H&D.
