In a truly FREE society anyone could commit suicide anytime without being thrown in jail or labeled a psych case. I believe it to be a human right. It's your life, it's your body, just help them out so they can do it on the cheap.
If you think you have a right to control suicide then you believe you have a right to control another's life decisions. Once you start doing that there is no stop to one group of people controlling another. That is why trying to stop abortions is wrong. It's not your family, it's not your genes. The Roman Empire had enough smarts to stay out of family matters.

"we own our bodies, and thus, determining the time, manner, and method of our own deaths, for whatever reason, is a basic human right."I can't seem to find a flaw in that premise.

This is terrifying....I'm scared some day someone will decide when I have to die. These people talking about burdens....I only can see they are really empty inside. Can they feel any love?.Goodness!!!. With all the sacrificies my parents have done for me, to allow me to have a life of my own, the very least I can do for them is to take care of them when the moment comes. And talking about troubled teens....99% of the teens are troubled, but it goes and they can be happy afterwards, as long as you don't brain wash them with these ridiculous ideas. One last thing, I wonder if these people will fulfill their duty to die.

Well, at least it gets rid of all those 'incompetents' without having to deal with those depressing mental institutions or nasty gas chambers. MUCH more efficient this way. Adolf would be proud. /sarc
