VIPS does not seem to have a website, but its email is vips@counterpunch.org, and their open letter appears to have been published at CounterPunch (run by Alexander Cockburn, the Nation columnist), an outfit whose staple is stuff comparing Bush to Hitler. VIPS also published an open letter in opposition to the war at Common Dreams back in February.McGovern and his cohorts actually published an article encouraging CIA agents to leak. Ray McGovern is a FLAT OUT LOON. We covered him last year in the DUmmie FUnnies. See-BS didn't even identify him by name in their report. They just said he was a retired CIA analyst. Maybe they figured folks would look up McGovern's name and find out he is a mental case.

Ray McGovern founded a group called "Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity". Good group to keep our eyes on. The guy is a conspiratorial nutbag who couldn't think his way out of a paper bag. Unfortunately, I think we'll be hearing a lot more from these folks.
