Rumsfeld Heckled by Anti-War Protesters

ATLANTA - Anti-war protesters repeatedly interrupted Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld during a speech Thursday, and one of them, a former CIA analyst, accused him in a question-and-answer session of lying about Iraq prewar intelligence.

I don't "wish". I'm simply stating what I saw in the video. He seemed off balanced by the remarks. He was stammering and flustered. Just my take. While I'm sure he was thinking "Who let this idiot in here", he could have handled the situation with more panache.

Ray McGovern founded a group called "Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity". Good group to keep our eyes on. The guy is a conspiratorial nutbag who couldn't think his way out of a paper bag. Unfortunately, I think we'll be hearing a lot more from these folks.

(APN) ATLANTA – Protester Gloria Tatum, 62, was injured at a protest against Donald Rumsfeld, US Secretary of Defense, today, from when she was shouting at Rumsfeld, and has a bruise on her back, Tatum says. The notorious local activist gave her first hand account of the heckling of Rummy to Atlanta Progressive News.

“I had a bruise and I thought someone hit at me from me from behind. When I look at the tape, the woman was pulling me down, but I don’t know if she was in the crowd or with security. At the time, it felt I had been hit from behind and I do have a bruise on my body. It sure felt like someone hit me. Someone said that they saw a woman hitting me, I think Wendy said that. Maybe I just got injured being drug out,” of the auditorium, she said.
