Chinese Military Doctor Witness to over 60,000 Involuntary Organ Donations most from Falun Gong Organs extracted from live people and people who survive are cremated alive
By Terry Vanderheyden
SHENYANG, May 3, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) China's 30 years of brutal, forced abortion to implement its one-child policy and its subsequent devaluing of human life has led has led to a new atrocity. A Chinese military doctor has revealed that he has personally encountered falsified documents for over 60,000 detainees many of them members of the Falun Gong religion which falsely claim that the individual named is voluntarily donating an organ.
He described the procedure used on the detainees: they are brought in to a military facility for what they are told is a routine exam, given local anaesthetic, and then the doctor removes the organ sometimes even a heart while the prisoner is still conscious. Those who survive the process are later cremated alive.
One thing worth noting is that during the entire process of an organ transplant, if the transplant is not successful, the documents on the organ source and the body must be destroyed within 72 hours, testified the unnamed doctor, who is now elderly. All of the documents and the body (sometimes even a live person) must be cremated and the cremation certified by military management personnel. These military personnel have the right to arrest, detain, or execute any doctors, police, paramilitary police, or research staff who leak the secret to the outside.
As reported by the Epoch Times news on line, underground organ transplants occur at a rate many times that of the number publicized by the government. For example, if the government says that there are 30,000 cases a year, then the real number is about 110,000. There is an abundance of organ sources, and this is another reason why the prices for organ transplants have decreased.
The doctor further testified that in the eyes of the surgeons, the organ donors are no longer regarded as human, but as animals. When doing it for the first or second time, some of them feel shaky and nervous. But after thousands of operations, everything is changed. They become numb about extracting organs from live people and cremating live people.

So, how did this elderly doctor get out of China? Or did he? The article offers up no proof and the claims seem a bit far fetched....who was receiving all these transplants and did they pay for them? It seems like a phony story to me, but believable because it is China.

Organ transplants from executed prisoners are a fact of life in China. Here's an
excerpt from Time Online:
But Bek-Medical, a broker based in Japan that advertises "fast, cheap and safe" transplants for foreigners who are willing to travel to China, says it arranges 30 to 50 operations a year. The source of the kidneys and livers? "Executed prisoners," a Bek-Medical staffer told TIME.
I have heard from sources in China that transplants are available for very reasonable amounts of money. Whether they are from convicts is another question. The likelihood of involuntary donations (i.e. from executed prisoners) is high, because of traditional Chinese beliefs about the sanctity of the body - that everyone should leave the world with all the body parts bequeathed by his forebears. There is also the traditional Chinese belief that any parts removed in life will also be missing in the afterlife.

So we wouldn't want to insult the Chinese leadership by allowing the Taiwan President to visit in the USA.

I've heard this story quite a few times, but all the sources trace back to the Epoch Times, a publication with obvious pro-Falun-Gong leanings. Time Magazine discusses the availability of organ transplants, but what I'd like to see is proof that the Chinese are actually killing people for their organs.

How many panties must go on how many heads before the markedly seditious media covers this story?

This is Holocaust deja vu. You read this report on the Chinese Communist Party? It outlines the fact that the Chinese Communist Party has been evil throughout from day 1. Sujiatun:

You will properly know more about this than me, but during the late 90s a number of Intelligence pundits were predicting that China would implode, in fact there were suggestions that China would divide on a North south divide into a Civil War, in fact a number of books were written on the subject.
And reports have come out of Peoples Armed Police Units from the North being deployed to the South to put down trouble areas.
Whats your view,

With 60,000 operations under their belt , they ought to be getting pretty good at it.

Same kind of mentality used by the Japanese in World War II, with their infamous Unit 731. Google "unit 731 vivisection" and you'll find plenty of ways to lose your breakfast. This same kind of brutality was exhibited by them during the Rape of Nanking (1937-1938).
What is about eastern Asia that allows this kind of mentality to breed?

This should not be a surprise to anyone. In a Communist government, people are the property of the state, to be dealt with as the state deems. It is how Castro won against the fight for Elian Gonzalez - basically, Castro demanded the return of his property.
Notwithstanding, it is a terrible circumstance.
