I agree with that but another part of me wishes someone would blow his brains out.

So nice to know you have inside information on what AQ was thinking.
Were you on the jury?
You would have fit right in.

So why can't he be tried 3,000 times like the OKC courts tried to do for 1 death sentence?

I just fear for those who live around the prison he will be calling home. Lots of his goovy terrorist friends will try to get him out and who knows what they will try in the future.

You know, guards' guns just kinda go off sometimes... I can't imagine there would be much outrage if it happened. No, I don't know of anything such thing. Care to cite an example or two?
Secondly, there would be a HUGE investigation. How old are you?

Hmm, I was a year off, sorry !
Did a quick search, apparently sentencing was to be March this year bit it's postponed as she is having radiation treatment for breast cancer. Sentencing now in late September 2006.

(Of course, here in DFW a local fraudster got released from prison due to cancer - a cancer that then mysteriously vanished.)

There will be two theories and we will probably never know which one is correct:
THEORY 1: Moussaoui really wanted to die the martyr and the jury didn't want to give him the satisfaction.
THEORY 2: The brilliant lawyers and/or Moussaoui realized that the jury could be convinced of the truth of THEORY 1 and that they could save his life by letting him "make a fool of himself" pleading, in effect, for a death that would be denied him.
Unless the lawyers reveal their strategy which is highly unlikely in my opinion then only Moussaoui will know the truth.
OTOH, the lawyers could state that they did not have any such strategy. That is possible if not likely. But it won't answer the question of Moussaoui's real motives. We will never know what they were unless the lawyers confess to spoofing the jury. Not likely.

Doesn't it just make perfect sense that he was just granted that which he claims to want to take from everyone else that isn't muslim. That being life.
I tell you, I will never understand such "logic".

Bumped from the mission? I thought he was in custody on the day of the attacks.
Didn't he MISS his flight?

McVeigh got the death penalty administered at Terre Haute. The Unabomber is in Colorado Supermax where he is being kept completely isolated.

How do you get through to the libs?! Make them stand on a 100 story burning high rise and have to make that terrible choice?..........Sadly...I don't even know if that would work with these lame brains.........A jury of libs. I should have known.......

He played the jury. Yep. And he won.

I wonder about that. You may think that now, but I wonder how you'd feel as your execution day nears and how you'd feel as you're about to be injected. If most feel they'd rather die,, why so many appeals?
To: InterceptPoint
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) Moussaoui said as he was led from the courtroom: "America, you lost." He clapped his hands.
Moussaoui gets it. Why don't some on this thread who are happy with the verdict get it? He played us.
