Well so much for my weather/earthquake radio alert system...
Darn thing blares every Wends. as a radio check test and nothing today with the real thing...
Maybe no warning for the West coast means no radio transmission, hmmmm the darn thing should be blaring with the usual Wends check by now though...double hmmmm.

If we are talking tidal waves then it is the type of quake that matters most. If the quake was an up/down quake surfs up, if not no Tsunami.

I just heard on the radio...a Tsunami warning was issued but rescinded? Maybe someone can doublecheck/verify that.
