While a series of marches focused much of the nation's attention on the plight of illegal immigrants, scores of other Americans quietly seethed. Now, with the same full-throated cry expressed by those in the country illegally, they are shouting back.
Congressional leaders in Washington have gotten bricks in the mail from a group that advocates building a border fence, states in the West and South have drawn up tough anti-immigrant laws, and ordinary citizens, such as Janis McDonald of Pennsylvania, who considers herself a liberal, are not mincing words in expressing their displeasure.

"How dare they," said McDonald,...who said she voted for Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) in the 2004 presidential election.
________
You know the illegals blew it big time when even a Kerry voter gets it.

I'd rather send tea bags (much lighter) and equates to TAXES.....which I'd like to NOT pay for these invaders.

If the GOP doesn't capitalize on this, and do it quickly, they will have missed a great opportunity.
See my tagline.

"Whether the anger expressed by some Americans will translate into votes in November is anybody's guess. Fred Yang, a Democratic consultant in Washington, guessed that it will not.
"This is going to be like a tug of war," he said. "I think Republicans are trying to exploit voter concerns about immigration. It's not a winning strategy. I think voters are more concerned about health-care costs, the cost of higher education and gasoline and energy than immigration."
Keep thinking that Freddie, it shows how out of touch you demofools are. The costs of health-care, higher education, and energy are the direct result of the illegal immigrants.

COMMENT:
Fred buddy keep believing you spin and hype about our true feelings and prepare yourself with Vaseline to get screwed out of another election because of your stupidity.
Good reason why Democrats have not won a major election in years and my not win this November.

My congressional representatives would look at a tea bag and say "What the hell is THIS supposed to mean? We have some tea legislation coming up or something?"

"Seething" is indeed an appropriate word. I haven't been so angry and exasperated since the days of Carter, when the country and its leadership exuded an impotent defeatism at every turn. Seeing our politicians ignore this problem year after year, and then basically surrender our country to the criminal, invading mobs is maddening beyond belief. To have this actually happen when the Republicans control both the Presidency and the Congress, is positively mind-blowing, and makes me question all the effort I'd invested in the Party these past decades. Yes, maddening!

"How dare they," said McDonald, a research specialist for the University of Pittsburgh who said she voted for Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) in the 2004 presidential election. "If they are so active, why aren't they in Mexico City, why aren't they forcing their leaders there to deal with the quality of life? If you don't like it here, go home."I agree with a Kerry voter?

Brick in the mail? I like it!

I see Fred Yang is just about as blind as most Dim strategists. The greatest assurance of a Republican win 06 outside of the Party finally listening to its base Frs more Fred Yang's leading the Rats over the plank. Completely oblvious much?

They didn't have sense enough to realize this would make us angry? Of course the real culprits, ANSWER and all the other communists who organized this fiasco knew but didn't care. They used the people for their own agenda as usual.
