i'm taking some fruit & other foodstuff to the jobs.
it MAY be a REALLY long day. if it "goes" MUCH past 9PM, i'll make a burger/pizza/fried chicken run for the crew.
weekend before last we had one that started about noon on Saturday & finished about 4AM on Sunday. everyone was BEAT by the time we pulled out! (i certainly WAS!)

the GEN MGR.
it is "the nature of the best" to work NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, "extended periods without rest", etc. in this business.
that's why it's called, "emergency fir & flood response".

Washington, DC is the best city to visit. You can see some incredible history. You can get up close to airplanes that saw serious combat. You can even visit the Cryptological Museum.
Then, after you have stayed long enough, and you see the less desirables, you get to tell yourself..."I'm only visiting and can leave any time I want."

"I found them at the Vet Friends site. So, I guess they weren't trying to be specific and they were assuming that people would know their history, such as yourself.
Have a good day.
The Civil War & the American West I do know. Also WWII to some extent although it's been quite some time since I studied it.
What puzzles me is that 1846 entry about Mexicans surrounding a Texas fort. I'll have to check into that. I wonder if they got their decades mixed up.
You also have a good day.
