BTW, my favorite city/town is Rochelle, IL. That way I don't have to drive far :)!

Seriously, the most beautiful city visited was Paris, France...but I wouldn't go back! Other than that I'll take the Southwest; Las Cruces, NM comes to mind.

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Mojo, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities. Since I haven't seen every place there is to see on earth, I'll have to vote on what I have seen. I'm not biased when I say Washington, DC for all of their museums and memorials. So much to see! Next would have to be Virginia. They have a lot of history. Like Williamsburg and Jamestown. And, plenty of civil war sites.

DC Metroland weather report. Nice. Sunny. Upper 70s. NICE! YES!

I know many of you may have been experiencing withdrawals since I haven't posted Fun and Useless Facts lately. To help put you outta your misery, here's a little shot of it.

Origin of the Salute: Armored knights in medieval times raised their visors to identify themselves when they rode past their king. This custom has become the modern military salute.
