I've never posted a new thread before and was going to put this with Santa Ana but now there are details so I think it needs it's own thread.
Reports for help from all police to respond to Vista, California for unrest related to the immigration protests.
I'd been hearing sirens racing north on 15 for over the last 50 minutes and was trying to find out what was going on, as after hearing and seeing groups of 2-6 patrol cars racing up the freeway sirens wailing every 4-8 minutes made it apparent something was going on.

Vista? No. And I've not heard anything about La Mesa at all today. It's more the places closer to the border (Chula Vista, San Ysidro, Otay Mesa, National City) and then the northern part of the county (Escondido, Vista, Oceanside, potentially San Marcos and a few others) that have really had much going on today here in SD county.
Vista has definitely been the most noteworthy...by far...(probably a major understatement, despite the lack of real coverage...judging purely by what I witnessed myself and the little they did say and show!)
I'm really tired, need to teach tomorrow, but it's sooooooooo hard to go to sleep while "the backbone" of America is rioting, I feel like I need to "be there in spirit" :)

As far as I'm concerned, the only right an illegal alien has is for reasonably decent treatment on their way to a one-way trip back to their country of origin. Anything more than that is above and beyond what's really necessary.

One saying the Indians didn't ask for a visa when we invaded their land .. utter wormpoop for sense, but so irrationally intense and certain he was in the right. The Latino Jesse Jacksons of the next decade.are being spawned in this battle .. and it's obvious there's $$ and organizational clout behind them.

Makes it sounds like the cops showed up for no reason at all! The willing accomplices in the press infuriates me even more than the illegals. Is someone going to have to get seriously hurt before the truth is actually reported?

It was either written WAY earlier or their sources were WAY off on the response numbers.
WAY WAY WAY low... WAY low based on what I saw...and that was just the ones I saw b/c I first heard sirens......and that's only headed north from one part of the county. LOL.
The coverage of this has been...lacking. To put it mildly.
Very curious to see what they're saying by morning. They are definitely not giving much of the picture, for whatever various reasons we've tossed around!
