I've never posted a new thread before and was going to put this with Santa Ana but now there are details so I think it needs it's own thread.
Reports for help from all police to respond to Vista, California for unrest related to the immigration protests.
I'd been hearing sirens racing north on 15 for over the last 50 minutes and was trying to find out what was going on, as after hearing and seeing groups of 2-6 patrol cars racing up the freeway sirens wailing every 4-8 minutes made it apparent something was going on.
What speed internet connection are you using. The Gumball link was too broken up at 56K.
It is in Orange County, back from the beach. South of Disneyland and Anaheim, and just inland from Huntington Beach and Newport Beach...with Irvine to the southwest.
My husband works in Escondido and is there tonight. He said the local news is pretty much not covering any of this. Same here in OC, I don't see anything being said about Santa Ana unrest.
Yes, Santa Ana is a little south of LA and it's in Orange County.

Last week choppers following a car with 5 illegals that broke through the border, they ended up on 163 took the turn off and while I am heading to Ralphs at UpTown center
the illegals took the ramp off 163 by 10th and the police boxed them by Ralphs. TV cameras due to the chase, and
police carting the illegals away. So continued my walk on.
Update again.
KNSD has the chopper up.
Again saying NOT the protestors from earlier.
Response has been to take the 600+ crowd and break it into smaller groups.
The cops have been moving in from other directions slowly.
The overhead is nuts all these cop cars. Holy cow.

Typical. Not enough firepower on the line early enough in the game to keep it from getting out of hand. Now that it's out of hand, there isn't the willpower to breing the boot heel down.
We had yahoo's 'cruising' the local day laborer 'strip' honking, waving flags, shouting, blaring music...
I called the local PD and asked them WTH they were doing about it; dispatch said, "We've got a couple units headed down there." I laughed out loud and said "That's not gonna cut it; you'd best call in the ghetto bird and some serious reinforcements. These people are out there acting like they own the place."
I got the typical bureaucratic, "Thank you."
Yeah, right. If we don't get this fixed, next time I'll get the typical bureaucratic 'Gracias.'
