If they're so smart, why isn't Mexico a paradise?

&&
It is a paradise --- for Vincente Fox and the other oligarchs who are milking the country's oil and other resources to enrich themselves while they send their poor here for us to take care of. These geniuses should be back in their own country marching for their fair share of Mexico's wealth. Of course, the authorities there would have them beaten to a pulp.

I bet you won't find these people at the Amusement parks, you know, having to wait in line like everyone else ticks them off. They would probably demand that the park be renamed Latino-land Amusement park and refuse to pay admittance.

It goes to show what kind of "Catholics" these radicals are. It kind of undermines the argument of many on here that these illegals are "good Catholics."

It sounds like the "liberation theology" Marxist crowd to me, from down south.

This is a gross perversion of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She spoke out against communism. Sounds like another batch that didn't pay attention to the Catechism.

I can't recall who that is pictured on the young man's t-shirt. But that same pic is posted in one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. It's about an hours drive from here, so I don't know if they joined in the protests or stayed open. But I guess we should know who that guy is, I can't recall. Anyone?

Well, fighting an Indian tribe doesn't prove you are non-Indian, any more than Germany fighting France proves it is non-European. Indian tribes fought each other all the time.

Actually, though, the elites of Mexico have much less Indian blood than the pobres who enter the US illegally.

I get a charge out of the MSM and NPR calling them,"immigrants."

They are not "immigrants." They are law breakers and invaders.

And they idea that they are needed as workers is a rather weak way to say that their law breaking employers wish to become rich on the backs of defacto indentured Mexican servants.

The last I checked, a slave economy was basically defeated during President Lincolns tenure.

If the so called "employers" of these invaders would offer good wages , then there would be no demand for Mexican invader workers. Jobs would be filled by Americans then, who would not cower in the substandard housing of their employers, and draw on Social Service resources bought and paid for by taxpayers. Most Mexican workers do not pay taxes.

I for one would be very willing to pay extra for the produce Mexicans pick, just to make the wages offered higher, and then hire genuine immigrants and other American blue collar workers.

"I was under the impression that Spanish Conquistadors slaughtered, raped, and pillaged Mexican Indians"

They did, also took them as slaves. They also terrorized them so that they'd convert to Catholicism. Burn some at the stake and ask for volunteers. Some of the Padres became saints.

The pic on the dipsticks shirt contains Goyathlay(one who yawns). The Mexican army befriended him, then killed his wife, mother and 3 kids for fun. They gave him the name Geronimo(Jerome). It was the vicious killing of his wife and kids that pissed him off so much. He hated the Spanish/MXs and I'm sure he'd bury the moron with the shirt up to his chin, next to an ant hill.

Thanks! Zapata - I could not think of it and I knew that before I could google it, someone would know!

Gee, I'm so glad to know his pic is prominently posted. I hope, oh, I'm sure it's for the 'ambience'. (sarcasm implied) Now I'm really curious if the restaurant closed for the day or not...

LOL. I miss great Mexican food. The stuff here in New Jersey just doesn't cut it. If I were in your position, my stomach would argue that the picture of Zapata was just a senseless fashion statement, like those Che shirts a lot of college kids wear. ;)

Gee, isn't his shirt saying, "I'm lost; I can't find my home; please deport me to Mexico!" Why can't someone do that? He obviously makes no attempt whatsoever to act or look American and assimilate like a good immigrant.

If they're so proud of their "native" heritage, then maybe they should start speaking Aztec instead of the European language of the conquistadors.

The Apaches hated the Mexicans. They were their mortal enemies.

Natchez was the son of Cochise. Geronimo's wife, mother and 3 young kids were killed by the MX army.
