Gettin' ready!!!
Potential topics???
(1) Illegal marches?
(2) Rush Limbaugh?
(3) Joe Biden's Iraq partition plan?
In your post...you tout that Savage isn't concerned about ratings...
Then, in your last line, you seem to be justifying Savage's "eccentricity" by his ratings...
I am sorry, but listening to someone have a nervous breakdown on the radio isn't my idea of entertainment.
As far as his political views...they may have once been pretty good...back when it was "Borders, language, culture"...which I happen to agree with.
However, it seems like everytime I turn to his show, he is contradicting a stance he had a week or so earlier...about any number of subjects....
ORRRRR...he is talking about why should he go on, life sucks, everything is awful...is it worth it??
Sorry...but that is a total turn-off to me.
Not sure what the sentiment here is but radio talkshow hosts do not get elected so I think their ratings are the primary barometer of how well they're doing. Rush is #1 according to 'ratings'. I haven't heard anyone dispute this method of making him # 1. Are you?
I think that more variables might go into the process of getting accurate ratings than goes into getting results from a poll.
Oh and...
I have no tolerance for either one.
The ratings is what's important.
Tremendous show today. Savage to head the INS and change the name to IDS - Immigration and Deportation Service. Great!
Classic stuff.
That's just it. It's entertaining... The Howard Stern of politics (I hate Howard too, by the way)... His constant Bush-bashing, flip-flopping on economic issues, and bashing of Hannity/Rush/O'Reilly is absurd and sophmoric.
which characterization, that he is shallow or that he is a gop shill. lol
Both! :-)
you are wrong there, buddy. He generally cuts off those jbs-cfr-illuminati types. altho he did let one mention cfr friday night
good to see randi rhodes doesnt rank either.
You can't be serious. Limbaugh spends half his damn show promoting himself, his stupid newsletter, his unoriginal Club Gitmo t-shirts, etc etc. Savage doesn't run a single commercial promoting his book. And btw, it is BUSH who has embarrassed conservatism with his refusal to bring spending restraint to government, and his failure to defend our borders.
Weiner is a self-aggrandizing blowhard who quickly loses his cool and says stupid things on virtually every show. But what's worse is his lack of reasoning capabilities - which is why I say without reservation he is an idiot. I find much more troubling his statements about things he has supposedly given some thought.
Here's a sampling in his own words.

well, I like savage but he does hock his books too much. i will buy this new one tho, to complete the trilogy lol.
I don't think Savage is far off when he says that imbicile "Cardinal" Mahony is doing this because the only parishoners he can get these days are illegal aliens. There is much truth to that. Attendence in Catholic chruches have been declining for years. Would I have used his vitriol? No. But you said he cannot reason, and I disgree.
"Attendence in Catholic churches have been declining for years."
So? There is no evidence that Priests want illegal immigrants in their flock out of "greed". It's an irrational statement. These illegals have little money anyway and much of it they send home. It makes no sense. Weiner just makes this stuff up based on biases not logic or reason. He can't get into their heads and understand motives.
I disassociate myself from Weiner and now I disassociate myself from people like you who defend such obscene remarks.
Have you hear Savage's views on the minimum wage?
It is indistinguishable from Karl Marx's views.
I think Cardinal Mahony is afraid of the Catholic Church losing its relevance. I can understand that and am sympathetic to it. However, his misplaced sympathies do not take into account the grave threat to national security of an open border, nor the massive criminal presence of illegal Mexicans in this nation, from the 31% of violent offenders clogging our prisons, to the 80% of illicit drugs sold to our children. It is disappointing that he doesn't seem concerned about these threats, and it is offensive how he plays blatant politics, while arrogantly assuming his tax-exempt status will never be questioned.
